  Nothing special

  Basic hotel. Beds were comfortable. Hot tub in pool area has been filled in. Not much available at this exit. No real problems. Breakfast was decent. Offered hot options along with cereal and pastries.

  Disappointed

  Motel did not give a good impress upon arrival. Windows and door leading to lobby looked as if they had not been washed in months. A non-smoking facility, but cigarette butts all over the walk-way and drive, Grounds generally unkempt. Halls leading to rooms were not clean. Debris in all corners was the rule rather than the exception. Based on what was experienced upon arrival, surprisingly the room was better than anticipated. No complaints other than a discovery of a pair of sunglasses on the floor at the foot of one of the beds that was apparently left by a recent guest. Makes one wonder if the carpet had been swept. Good breakfast selection. All said, I would not recommend this motel to anyone who does not live in a cluttered or unkempt home.

  Move To Modern style and service by staff with refinished indoor pool & big fitness room on way

  Heard about this hotel that is under new management & refreshing hotel Move To Modern style so stopped to see for our next visit in March 2020 .. Staff was very nice, aggressive about whats going on , she gave us a property tour about what happening as she stated new specious fitness room for corporate travelers and a refinished indoor pool for families . She was so excited to tell me that in a month we will have 49 TV , new pillow top mattresses and everything will be done as Move To Modern design . I noticed all outside entry area was very clean and she said the new management is all about customer experience at this 100 % non smoking hotel with no more cigar butts by entry doors while created designated smoking area just for guest and staff is not allowed to smoke anymore while serving guests

  Good hotel

  My family and I stayed here during holidays season as we were visiting Grand Rapids and the hotel was in very good condition and the service provided was very good as well. Nice and spacious rooms as explained on the website and is conveniently located as well. Staff is courteous and helpful even with busy vacation time.

  Let me list the fails

  [[ during corona ]] No one at desk.. that's OK Unable to charge me properly for my suite, but yes offered to fix it... that's OK Got to my room, fridge was open.. that's ok.. Room was not clean.. so. During corona, the cleaning staff is cleaning a fraction of the rooms they normally do.. that is NOT ok.. see pics I was freaked out, that if a 124 dollar " suite ' was not very clean during a time of extreme cleanliness needs, then goodness i pray my linen was clean and fresh.. This is not a cheap place..i certainly expected much more for 124 after tax
