  Just OK

  Well appointed and reasonably clean but poor housekeeping detracted from the experience. Rooms have AC, a microwave and toaster as well as the usual coffee and tea making facilites. The motel also has a pool and free wifi. The TV was inoperable but the very apologetic and helpful manager swapped it out for another that did the job. Housekeeping had neglected to replenish the milk supply and there was no extra roll of toilet paper a necessity as there were only a few sheets left on the roll. Again the manager provided. Rooms can be noisy tho, both road noise and from the upstairs and adjacent rooms. The plantation shutters do a great job of keeping the rooms dark if you're after a sleep-in, possibly a necessity if your noisy neighbours are night owls!

  Overpriced and rundown

  The outside appearance is awful with weeds and long grass, road noise doesnt stop and when you need rest from a medical procedure is the wrong place to stay. After two nights my back was sore from the bed, plenty of nicer motels closer to the Main Street for more convenience however it is in walking distance to a Sports League Club for meals. We stayed two nights and our room wasnt on the cleaning list after the first night until we asked, we needed more tea, coffee, milk, fresh towels, bins emptied etc etc. They are certainly cutting corners here.

  Not a bad place to stay

  I stayed here while undertaking a last minute business trip . And was surprised the staff were nice and the hotel was clean and the bed was relatively comfy . Really what more could you ask for When travelling in a small country town . Id happily stay here again .

  Overpriced and very tired

  Stayed here for 1 night only, definitely would not have stayed another, even if had paid. Traffic / roadworks went on till 3.30 am, not impressed, the receptionist / manager would have known this was going to take place when checking in, and didn't say a word, that's not good PR. Room had cobwebs around the corners of the lounge room ceilings, these have been there for some time looking at the size of them. Carpets need a good shampoo as well as stains taken out. Sheets on the bed were old, worn, thin and had old stains on them, disgusting. A good iron of the pillowcases would have been nice. A new coat of paint would make the rooms much fresher and more presentable. At $149 pn this is very expensive for a mid week stay. Certainly not a 4 star property as advertised. The outside certainly needs a lot of tiding and trimming of trees done to it. Just a very tired motel that needs alot of work done to it. With the recent lockdown situation and shortage of bookings etc... most motels we have stayed in and taken that time to do renovations / tidy ups etc... THIS ONE DID NOTHING. Would never stay or recommend to anyone. Plenty of more closer to town to choose from, and at a better price.

  Business overnight

  Sad looking hotel on a very noisy road, with no insulation from the noise. Horrendous insecticide smell coming from my room. The staff who greeted me was lovely. Not sure where the 3.5 stars come from, this should get no more than 1 star, only because of the lively receptionist that I have pushed it up to 2 stars. Currently trolling the internet for another place to stay.
