  Comfort Hotel Wakayama

  Excellent location , situated just walking distance from the train station . Rooms are small but clean . There is a daily complimentary breakfast at the dining area in the lobby area , breakfast is good and substantial . Other times of the day , the dining area space is available for us to sit there and relax , or eat the food we purchased from outside . We could help ourselves to the free hot drinks eg tea/ coffee provided . All in all , a good experience and will definitely stay here again .

  Convenient, American Style, Excellent

  I loved the location (short walk to JR Station and everything else). EXCELLENT VALUE. The room and staff were great. Buffet breakfast had a nice mix of Japanese and other/American standards. The only complaint is the nearly pancake thickness pillows. So thin I thought there were none! But five did the job for a short stay (3nights). Be prepared for desk staff not speaking English unless 2-3 of those who do (out of 12) are on duty. But god bless em, they gave it their best with translator software and persistence on both sides Of the desk - and remember its their country!

  Stayed here for one night

  It just business hotel ,not really comfortable for seniors I do not think we ever will stay at a comfort hotel again in Japan ,this one had breakfast buffet the one in Nara not But actually I think the good for younger people,

  good choice in Wakayama

  Located just next to JR station, it is a prefect location for those who arrived by train. Room is typical comfort hotel style, cozy and comfortable. Breakfast is always the highlight, the half-boiled egg is so good!

  Very good value for money business hotel, convenient location next to station

  Simple hotel but super convenient, close to JR train station and there are many eateries nearby. The hotel even includes a complimentary buffet breakfast, nothing fancy but just a nice touch to start your day. Room is proper and clean. Note that the train station nearby is JR Wakayama station and not Wakayama-shi (Wakayama city) station on the private train line. I made a mistake myself and had to get here by another train ride. This is a very pleasant town. If you have time, take the JR line to Kishi station () to see its famous cat manager Tama.
