  Buena ubicación y gran desayuno

  El hotel no es muy diferente a otros hoteles de negocios, con habitación mini e impecable, pero en recepción la atención en inglés es mejor que en otros. La almohada no tiene las tipicas bolitas que tiene casi todas las almohadas en Japón y la bañera es, si cabe, más alta que otras, lo que puede ser un problema para niños o personas con problemas de movilidad. Otra diferencia es que es el único hotel de este tipo con un canal TV gratuito que emite series no japonesas y con la opción versión original. Cama regular, algo blanda. Nos llevamos la agradable sorpresa de que ofrecía desayuno gratuito, algo que no aparecía en nuestra reserva. Además fue el mejor desayuno del viaje, con mucha variedad tanto salada como dulce para el estandar de este tipo de hoteles. Buen café (casi expresso), cereales, yogurt, bollos, waffles además de huevos cocidos, ensalada, salchichas, etc. En los folletos de recepción ofrecen alquiler de coches a precios muy competitivos (aunque en nuestro viaje no había coches disponibles en todo Hokkaido). Wifi a buena velocidad, 25 mb, también la mejor de nuestro viaje. Kushiro es una ciudad horrible. El centro, alrededor de la estáción y hasta el río, no tiene más que hoteles y parkings, pero ni grandes almacenes ni tiendas de ningún tipo. El centro comercial junto al puente tiene restaurantes y las típicas tiendas de souvenirs, nada más. La megafonía de las calles y el ambiente desolador no ayudan a valorarla mejor.

  Very good for the service and money value.

  100 % of hotels we stayed in Japan above our expectations. This one is same. Their included breakfast is far more better than toyoko inn. When you walk out jr station hotel is just on your left -big sign -much shorter than we thought from the map. Check in and out were both very quick. For English speakers, a special notes written clearly with breakfast time wifi password and check out time. Air conditioning is set at comfortable temperature not too hot or cold. Some other hotel no matter how you adjust it is too hot for winter. We love this hotel. Will consider more this brand in our future travel.

  safe choice

  Comfort hotel never let you down, room is specious and clean as always, they guarantee you a good sleep. The best part of comfort hotel is their half-boiled egg, the main reason I choose Comfort hotel is their compulsory half-boiled egg in the breakfast.

  clean and bright room

  Comfort Kushiro is located just opposite the JR Kushiro station. Once you stepped out of the station, look on the left you will see the sign board of the hotel. Cross the traffic light and make a left turn, you will see the entrance of the hotel. Lobby is clean and bright and front office staff are very polite and helpful. Check in is a breeze. Decided to do a last minute change from double room to twin room and the staff immediately check and asked if a top up of JPY800 is alright for us since room is available. Room size is good for 2 persons and it is very clean, bright with white light. Wi-fi is good and the bathroom isn't too tiny to fit one. Everything is provided in the bathroom and there is a coin laundry on the 2nd floor which is equipped with a camera. This is good for safety and in this room, there are vending machines for drinks which are priced reasonably. Breakfast is just okay if one is not too fussy because it is rather simple without variety. Self service coffee is provided at this breakfast place throughout the day. Breakfast is served daily from 6am onwards which is good for those catching an early train. The two days spent in this hotel, no big crowd was spotted at the lobby, good for those who prefer peace and quietness. Price is reasonable at JPY7200 for a twin sharing room, inclusive of breakfast. Will definitely stay again if I visit Kushiro. This is my second time staying in Comfort chain of hotel. Previously stayed in Toyama Comfort and was very satisfied too.

  Great little hotel

  We stayed at this hotel in October 2016 before setting off on a birding/animal trip. the room was very comfortable and included a breakfast. The rate was reasonable too. Free wifi, included in price. This is used mostly by Japanese business people but we were fine. They made us very welcome, little English was spoken but we were understood. The room was small but contained everything you needed, even had shampoo, spa soap, body lotion, comb, etc. Tea, coffee facilities also in the room. You were able to get soft drinks at a dispenser by the lift should you so desire. Although, looking out over other buildings and a busy road, albeit at times, the room was sound proofed. Bed was very comfortable and clean. A free self serve breakfast which was very enjoyable. You had to clean your plates etc away into trays provided but no hardship. The hotel was on the bus route from the airport. It didn't cost very much for about 1 hour drive. We were informed buses were about every 20 minutes when flights were in. The bus stop was just by the hotel so not far to go to the hotel after a long flight from Australia. To catch the bus back to the airport was easy too as the main bus terminal was just across the road. All well within walking distance for us and we are in our 70's. There is a convenient store just down the road where you can buy everything. We stayed there on our arrival and also on our departure back to Australia after a wonderful holiday in Hokkaido. Biggest highlight for us was seeing the wild bears and the Blakiston fish owl which is the 2nd largest owl in the world. Beautiful scenery a place well worth visiting and we hope to return.
