  A very pleasant week long at Colton House

  Me and my business partner stayed there for a week on a business trip. I fist stayed in the summer room. The room was spotless and very comfortable. It what I really need after a long day with work. Breakfast was very good and the service was excellent. Nothing to complain. I think it's very good value for money and definitely will be back there again if in the area.

  Great place to stay we will be back

  Stayed while at Staffordshire County Show, was made very welcome, clean rooms, excellent breakfast served early, Honesty bar a lovely surprise. Beautiful garden and grounds. We will return when in the area and recommend to friends.

  Great stay

  Stayed here to watch our son in the Ironman. Couldnt have wanted more, great hosts, georgeous house, lovely clean room, superb breakfast. Very helpful in sorting out directions and road closures for us. Would recommend. Great stay, thank you.

  Excellent b and b. Nice hosts, clean and relaxing. so good in on my third visit as work in the area and drive the extra mile. Nice restaurants in the area too. Ron and gay are very helpful. Breakfast is very good and available at a time that suits you

  Fabulous Stay!!!

  My Lovely Lady and I had the immense good fortune of staying here for the night of 23rd July!! A fantasticly lovely house matched only by the warmness of the welcome by the lovely proprietors , Ron and Gay. Our room was tasteful, well appointed with tea and coffee facilities, spotless with a high quality, well designed bathroom. An attractive sash window gives a beautiful view of the well established gardens which after we had returned from an evening out, we visited via the well stocked, wood panelled bar that offers any alcohol you desire in return for honesty! We wandered in the moonlight through the lovely flora and sat in the gazebo to await the thunderstorms which on arrival encouraged us to watch from our room! A terrible night's sleep followed but that was solely due to heat and thunder, however this certainly was not the fault of our hosts and indeed the bed was very comfortable! Breakfast the next morning was all freshly prepared local produce that was second to none, cooked and served by Ron and was indeed faultless. We managed to fit in a walk around the grounds in the warm morning sunshine and it did not disappoint!! Ron gave us a very warm send off and his company was an absolute pleasure! We really hope we get the opportunity to return and advise anyone else to visit this lovely couple while you still can, you will not be disappointed!!!
