  Excellent location

  Hotel is just a few minutes walk to Dongment Pedestrian Street. Lots of restaurant around the hotel and metro is nearby too. Staffs are friendly, room is clean but a bit small. Good facilities such as laundry.

  I like here

  5 mins. Walk to metro station. Very close to restaurants, shopping places etc. I have stayed 2 type rooms. Twin room with window and single room without window. Both are ok. Chinese&western stule breakfast avaiable. Free self service Laundry&dry. Large hotel on 4th.floor.

  Perfect Location

  It is only 5 minute walks to metro station - Laojie. The hotel is very near to DongMen Pedestrian Street where the street has got a lot to offer (street food, fashion). Also, remember to visit the first McDonald's in Mainland which is located in the DoneMen Pedestrian Street. The hotel also offers free self-laundry service.

  No Non-Smoking Rooms. Located in the Interesting Dongmen Pedestrian Shopping Area

  The location of the hotel, in Dongmen, is convenient to an interesting pedestrian-only retail area that is closed to car traffic. The hotel is about 5 minutes walking distance from the Shaibu underground/MTR/subway station Exit D3, and is relatively quiet. Disappointingly, the Dongmen Colour Hotel confirmed a special request for a non-smoking room, but the room was not non-smoking. Not only that, people were smoking in the lobby and the dining area, right in front of the staff. The room itself was clean, but small, with limited storage for clothing. The windows had good curtains. One layer let in light but provided privacy. The second blocked light very well. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were of good quality. The bathroom was poorly designed, with almost nowhere to place toiletries or hang towels. The breakfast, costing an extra Y25/person, provided a good variety of items. The offering changes somewhat each day. While the interior of the hotel was clean, the same cannot be said of the exterior. The elevator has glass sides that primarily provide a view of an adjacent, abandoned lot. The windows were filthy. The top of the elevator also was covered with dirt and debris, as was the elevator shaft. That aside, the neighborhood generally was very clean. There are plenty of nearby restaurants, both Chinese and western. Chemists shops are nearby too in case of illness. It's hard to find coffee in the area, but the coffee at Pizza Hut is very good.

  IDEAL LOCATION IN DONGMEN

  Signboard is big hence unlikely to miss it. Hotel is located on the 4th floor. Lift is small. Clean and surprisingly quiet although its situated along a busy street. Overall, recommended to those on budget hotel hunting.
