  Comfortable, clean and friendly

  Stayed for two nights over the Labour Day long weekend and couldn't be happier with the accommodation. The owners were so friendly and nothing was a bother. Our room was spotlessly clean and very spacious, with a very comfortable bed, roomy sofa and spacious bathroom. Rates were very reasonable and the facilities first rate. We would highly recommend the Colonial Motor Inn as a base if you're thinking of visiting this area.

  Great value for money

  Clean comfy room, friendly & attentive hosts. But it's the little touches that make this place great. There's the normal sachet tea & coffee but there's also leaf tea & a pot or plunger coffee if you prefer. A fully stocked bar fridge, lots (6) of pillows & the winner for me electric blankets & all at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended Colonial Motor Inn Bairnsdale

  Excellent.

  Great place to stay. Soon as you walk in, your greeted with a smile. Check in was pleasant. Your offered fresh milk too, which we accepted. As after a 3 hour drive from Melbourne, a coffee and tea, always goes down well. The room was very clean. We stayed in The King Room. The bed was very comfortable. Nice large soft pillows were wonderful. The shower has a shower head that allows for good pressure and flow. The kitchenette was well appointed. Free WiFi was excellent, as they have smart TVs, and after logging into our Netflix account, there was no buffering at all. Well worth staying when next your in the area. Highly recommended.

  Everything a Country Motel Should Be

  Great hospitality from host Deb on arrival. A warm and genuine greeting always makes for a great stay. Room was spotlessly clean. Small kitchenette had a sink which is a great plus for us. And common sense things like some salt and pepper, tea pot and plunger coffee if that is your bent. And fresh milk to boot. What is there not to like. For a modern motel with a comfortable king bed, we thought it excellent value.

  Great place to stay!

  Just stayed 2 nights at this Motel and have nothing but praise! Great Motel! Great Hosts and Great service. Cannot do much better. Have been down for business and will book again. Thanks people for a great stay.
