  Friendly and safe place to stay.

  I stayed 2 nights while visiting my mum at Iona rest home. As a female travelling on my own I felt very comfortable and safe there. The room was beautifully presented and very clean. The staff were extremely friendly.

  Very comfortable

  Very comfortable motel with sky tv and all the channels. Kitchen facilities were good. Place was clean and tidy with good parking at the door. Nothing much else to add! Stayed there before and we will stay again.

  Over-delivered

  We stopped here for one night on our way south to the Catlins. We hadnt booked and by the time we got to Oamaru were just after somewhere to lay our heads, so we didnt expect much, just went to the first place that caught our eye. Well, it was way more than that. I would have been happy to stay for several days. We had a studio but it was spacious for two people. The place is immaculate , obviously recently renovated, and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. If youre looking for a great place and good value in Oamaru, I highly recommend it.

  Superb , clean and inviting motel.

  I have had the pleasure of staying at the Colonial Lodge Motel, in the northern end of Oamaru, twice in the last month or so. On both occasions I was very impressed by the reception staff who were both friendly and efficient. But this was just the start of what was to be great experiences. The motel facility on both occasions was sparkling clean, yet managing to appear inviting and homely. The rooms I stayed in were well supplied with everything I could need and consumables were of good quality. On my last visit i stayed 2 days and was delighted to find that tea, coffee, and cookies were replaced each morning. The bed was truly luxurious and this word stays as a lasting memory of the whole experience. Thank you to the whole team who create such a nice place to stay.
