  Roaming the State of Mississippi

  On another road trip with wife and decided to stop and rest. We chose this Motel Collins Inn and Suites. We found it through this program. but it stated not available. But because of the last few rating we gave them a call. We arrived after dark and could not tell much of the outside bite what we could see was nicely keep. Lobby was also nice and maculate. I had to wait about three minutes for the attendant to show up. She was very polite and informative. Ended up getting a very large room w/ King bed. Nothing extra special but the room Non smoking was emasculate clean and fresh smelling too. The a/c was cold but not to worry you could have survived a blizzard in there with all the blankets pillows and heavy comforter on the bed. So wife turned it just cold enough so we had to keep covered except for our noses out to breath. We sleep very comfortably. Room cost was fair... upper 3/4 $$. But what I did not like was the fact that they keyed in your whole CC# & info into their pc system prior to scanning it for payment. I Strongly protested and told her to remove it. she stated it was policy to keep it until check out when i could then sal for it to be removed. I reiterated if it was not removed they would have legal issues. I will see tomorrow on checkout. ******* Am 6:00 We slept well, bed was very firm. Breakfast. Very skimpy while the room was very large and clean. The food bar included oranges, apples, breads - reg. w wheat. raisen & . instant oatmeal &grits various individual packed desert breads i.e. honey buns ect coffee milk tea boiled eggs and yogurt. The whole building seemed to have been recently updated and a job well done down to the. paint lines in corners and trim. All showing pride in the work done! Check out I was told they could not expung my cc info i told them we would be in touch! I would have rate them very hi BUT for this reason alone I rate them TWO STARS They do not have a right to personally keep a copy of your license and credit card information They will remember this issue!

  Trip to dauphin island

  Always a good clean room and continental breakfast. We are always treated like family and have been staying there every time we pass through. Prices are reasonable and if you need a late checkout they are accommodating.

  Good place to stay

  Nice and fairly priced motel. Have stayed there several times over the years. The Huddle House next door serves delicious food and is clean. The motel parking lot is well lit and the staff is friendly and efficient. Rooms are clean.

  Mouthy front desk clerk

  Lovely little hotel except for the rude, loud and know it all red headed front desk clerk. While checking in she was on her phone talking ill of a coworker whom she had to relieve. Very unprofessional.

  In-scheduled stop

  No reservations and stopped to be greeted by a great front desk clerk! Quickly got us a room at a good price. So glad we waited and stopped in here!! Clean, with AC that actually cooled the room!! I would book this hotel again. Good stay for a stop with my Grandaughter
