  Amazing services and atmosphere at Colline Hotel

  I recently visited Colline Hotel Mukono for a short holiday between 6th -9th April 2018. I had a great experience, the hotel has a good location, safe and quiet with very beautiful gardens. Staff are absolutely lovely, helpful and welcoming. The rooms are specious, clean with comfortable beds and an ideal buffet breakfast. The food was very tasty and surprisingly affordable. I enjoyed my stay and felt like extending my stay , it a place I will always consider. Colline Hotel, Mukono is a perfect Hotel for business and leisure.

  Home away from home

  My hotel stay was nothing short of amazing! The staff is highly attentive to your needs. The meals are well made. Room service is prompt. The ambience is also relaxing and tidy. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable and well maintained. If you happen to be staying near Mukono and need a place to lay your head- do yourself a favor and book a room at Colline. You won't regret it- like a home away from home!

  Poor

  Disgusting hotel No lift Mosquitoes everywhere Be careful about luggage as thefts are not uncommon Also have poor service ,food very bad simply unpalatable I wonder how they are still in business Poor service very slow

  Extremely overpriced, very poor quality, not at all up to standard, a huge disappointment

  The hotel gives an impression to be good. From the selection of rooms they have to offer at extremely high prices in USD only, we got an impression that this should be good. To blindfold the customers, they offer a 50% Christmas discount off $150. We went for a Double Deluxe, and expected a deluxe room. It was not even close to a deluxe! You can get far much better accommodation at less than 25% of the original price of the room I'll list problems here: 1) Inadequate information at the reception 2) They used extremely dim lights in their so called "Deluxe" unit to hide all the problems. 3) Very old and worn out toilet that hasn't seen a toilet brush or bleach for ages 4) The toilet tissue holder was broken, lying on the floor in a corner behind the toilet. 5) Extremely old and worn out bath tub and the shower didn't work 6) Extremely poor quality box of a bed 7) Very worn out foam mattress and and a torn mattress cover 8) The mattress cover does not fully cover the mattress, meaning that the mattress emits small particles of disintegrating foam which is a serious health hazard 9) An outdated and very old students' blanket from the early 1980's to hide the problems in number 8 10) Extremely old and discoloured bed sheets, from white to brown 11) Very old, faded and torn mosquito net with a hole that an adult person could go through. 12) The very old CRT TV equipped with a European plug that doesn't fit the UK style socket which is used all over Uganda. They failed to provide an adaptor. 13) AC did not function. 14) From the only window a high thick wall blocks the only possibility of light into the room. The distance from the window to the wall is approximately 6-10 inches NO ESCAPE ROUTE IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY!!! 15) The very thick curtains killed the little light that could reach the window. Food in the restaurant was good though. A good breakfast and a nice Ugandan buffet. Friendly staff in the restaurant.

  A splendid experience!!

  What an awesome job Colline hotel has done with the renovation of the rooms. I was so impressed!!!The garden scenery was breath taking. The staff are exceptional especially Veronica who took the time to answer any questions we had. It was the first time we had been to Uganda and my kids are still going on about their time at Colline. Its been a while since I have tasted such food. When on vacation to Uganda, consider going to Colline hotel. You will not be disappointed!! Helena Kay
