    A beautiful, isolated campsite

This was my favourite campsite we visited while walking the Cotswold Way. The main camping field wasn't yet up and running for the season so we stayed in the garden to the side of the farmhouse. We and 3 other campers had use of the bathroom and kitchenette in the B+B annex, which was very useful. The setting is idyllic and it was wonderful to watch the sun setting over the polo ponies in the valley. The landlady made us a great packed lunch for our walk the next day.

Comfy, friendly farm with beds x

My mum and I stayed here for 1 night. Sleeping in the glass house (conservatory) we had a double and single bed. We had read up so knew it was a breakfast you cook yourself. We had said we didn't need it as we were meeting up with someone for breakfast but the owners had included it anyway. Lots in fridge and extras on offer such as tins of soup fruit etc. We were delighted to be able to walk around the farm and meet the animals and loved the horses. The owners where around if we needed them, they were very welcoming. We were very at home. It rained heavily but the rain on the roof didn't keep us awake. We had a supper of toast and tea which was perfect. Beds and bedding all ok extra duvets on offer. Some previous reviews mention not clean etc... It's a working farm. I cannot understand what people are thinking! I would recommend it. It's well placed for lots in the area a car is needed though as it's a long way from the main road.

    Campsite: Basic and beautiful

Views beautiful and had the place to myself for the most of the weekend. Toilet and shower facilities extremely basic and could do with a clean. If you want a 5 star luxury campsite this isn't for you, but if you are happy getting back to nature in a lovely setting then stay here.

    Very rustic, beautiful views

Well stocked fridge and warm showers, which were much appreciated after our hike. But its very expensive (£50 pppn) which was much more than the other bnbs we stayed at on our walk and much much more basic. Be prepared for very basic accommodation and self catering all the way, but with lovely views over the Cotswold valley, and lots of animals everywhere!

A bit rough, a bit rustic, but cosy and warm.

This place is getting less than stellar reviews, I suspect because it doesn't fit the mould of a B&B or a hotel, which you find a lot of along the Cotswold Way. You're given a fridge full of food, and are expected to prepare your own dinner and breakfast. But I liked it. The proprietress was really friendly. It's funny, because it's a working farm, and she had work to do, so I only saw her a couple of times, but I felt really well taken care of anyway. She packed me a really nice lunch, filled the fridge up with lots of food. I honestly felt at home away from home. Of all the places I stayed while walking the Cotswold Way this was by far the most basic, but for some reason it's also the place that left the greatest impression on me. Approach it with an open and adventurous mindset, and you'll love it.
