Awesome spot for a short winter stay in OkinawaAfter 12 days touring Japan for the first time, this was me and my fiancé's final stop in Japan. We stayed for two nights and loved the location. Flying into Naha and renting a car on a Friday evening during rush hour was a bit hectic, but after we made it out of the city it was a smooth hour-long drive to Coco. The resort is located mid-island, and because it was winter and we weren't looking to spend our one full day lounging on the beach, the location was perfect. It should be noted that the resort provides a free shuttle to their sister resort on the beach, so one could conceivably use this as a beach spot too, though we did not. The resort is located within driving distance of spots we wanted to visit - castle ruins, hiking, cherry blossoms, and a couple of capes to watch the waves. We also ate dinner on-site one night, which was among the best Chinese food I have had in my life. The staff were all amazing and we loved our stay. If we come back to Okinawa, we will return here!

Weekend getaway in my own backyard.Excellent place to go for a quiet relaxing weekend. We stayed in a private cabin and had a beautiful view of the Pacific ocean . The all you can eat Dim Sum is a must! While there you can also take the free shuttle to their sister hotel to visit the beach.

4 nights with my wife4 nights with my wife for her birthday treat. Rented a car from the airport and about an hours worth of a drive using the highway. Checking in was smooth with lots of extras thrown in. Our room was spacious, clean and good air conditioning control. For dinner we went to Sakae-Ten, highly recommended but make sure to reserve. Went there by car and hired a driver on the way back for ¥1000. Breakfast with lots of choices but you can go to their other hotel Renaissance and try their breakfast too. In fact, breakfast and lunch was both included in our stay. The staff were friendly and I felt that although their partner hotel Renaissance is larger and deluxe in comparison, the staff here was more educated in service. The only draw back was that I found some ants inside the room. This didn't bother me cobsidering the environment. But if you're the type that freaks out towards little ants then perhaps look elsewhere. It was no problem for us.

Wonderful stayWe stayed at the cottages surrended by tropical trees. Eventhough the cottages are attached to each other by the wall, it still feels private enough and you dont really hear your neighbours. it has a private balcony that we enjoyed every night. The room facilities are well maintained and it has a perfectly comfortable bed. Hotel restaurant is amazing with ceiling to floor glass doors and windows facing both the city and the pool with green garden. Food was super delicious and buffet breakfast was 5 star quality !!! Staff was always ready to help and very attentive. Location of the hotel is convenient if you have your own car or bike. We avoided big city atmosphere with malls and stuff so that was a perfect choice for us.

Wonderful Stay - Stellar Staff! This was our first stop on our first visit to Japan. They set the expectation for service in Japan which was actually met throughout the multi week across throughout the country. I called the week before just to confirm everything, as the reservations were made 6 months prior. I also wanted to let them know we did not expect to arrive until after 10 at night. The first person I spoke to was very apologetic and managed to get across that he unfortunately did not speak English. Since we really could not communicate I just decided I would just have to assume everything was okay and we discontinued the call on a confused, but happy note. However within 10 minutes I had a call back from Coco Gardens. This was my introduction to Jimmy who proved to be absolutely wonderful during our entire stay. Jimmy assured me he would be there when we arrived late in the evening. And he was. We arrived well after 10, but Jimmy was there to greet us with cool towels and hot tea. He explained the amenities of the resort and made sure one of the other members of the staff helped settle us into our room. Our room was very spacious, and very clean. The amenities were plentiful tea, bottled water, razors, brush, toothbrush, body towels and a Japanese staple at hotels pajamas! The beds were very comfortable, room temperature perfect, and it was quiet and peaceful. Our stay included breakfast, as well a one dinner. We were out and about all day so the dinner never came into play. However we did enjoy the breakfast buffet each morning. It was excellent. The selection was terrific salad bar, fruit bar, breads, hot and cold cereals, steamed vegetables, eggs, pastries, steamed dumplings, breakfast meats, chefs station with fresh made selections and a wide variety of juices, coffees and teas. Anyone would be able to find something to their liking to enjoy. There is a bar near the restaurant, however this is not a bar scene place. It is very family oriented and on the two occasions we did visit the bar for an evening beverage we were the only ones there and someone from the restaurant staff had to come make the drinks as it does not appear to be staffed with a dedicated bartender. No worries though service here was as it is throughout the resort excellent. Jimmy was a constant presence I swear the man does not sleep! He even took care of cleaning leaves off of the car windows so each morning the vehicle was ready to go. Everything about this place spoke of excellent service. We will be visiting Okinawa again and will definitely plan on staying here. So much better than a big commercial hotel worth the visit!
