  Mold!

  This was our third stay at this hotel in the past 3-5 years. Normally it was fine. This time, they placed us in a room where there was mold all over the ceiling in the bathroom (pictures attached) and they claim they didnt even know it was there. Kinda hard to believe when theres a massive circle of mold in the bathroom. They did switch us to a different room, but we had to wait 2 hours, sitting on hard chairs in the lobby, because their washing machine had broken that morning and they had no sheets for the rooms (it was 5 pm when this was going on...and they said the washer broke at 10 am). We had already had a rough day, attending a funeral that morning, and just wanted to relax as we both werent feeling well, but that wasnt possible. There was no compensation for our inconvenience. The front desk staff were nice and gave us a different room. We did hear that the GM is hardly ever around, so maybe thats why this hotel is going downhill? I sure hope they fix the mold issue....if they give you room 219, check the ceiling in the bathroom. Mold is nothing to mess around with!

  Disappointed

  This Hotel is maybe 4 yrs. old. We've stayed here 3 yrs. ago. It Was Well cared for...NOT Now!! We were VERY Disappointed that the Entire Hotel SMELLS LIKE Cigarettes!! Then in the halls, They Try to cover it up with Smelly Aerosol! In our room, I went to wipe up water that was spilled on the floor, I had a towel filled with Hair & dust! The one Wall had FOOD splattered on it!! I ended up cleaning the wall & bathroom floor! What a Shame!!

  freak show motel

  5 day stay. Lobby and hallways smell of marijuana. Loitering and witnessed drug deals in parking lot. Young couple leaving through door with large garbage bag on luggage cart that fell over revealing 20-25 boxes of shoes. Complaint to desk clerk who stated she was actually a housekeeper filling in due to short staffing. She took my full information and told me she would have the manager call me; never happened. Tried to call the hotel day after leaving, phone rang and rang and rang with no answer. Sent letter with occurrences to corporate office, no response. Have stayed here in the past, obvious big change . Will NEVER stay here again! Also, when we looked for the dishes that were to be with kitchen area, they were dirty in the dishwasher.

  Not the same by far

  Now my husband and I stayed at the cobblestone on station, but I couldn't get the option to pop up. I am an avid reviewer, and love to give full details on my reviews. We are the biggest fan of the cobblestone hotel chain. we are determined to stay every time we celebrate any special event. Unfortunately, I now realize why the prices were a lot lower than they had been previously. So, the pros: the beds are still as comfortable as we remember, the staff is super friendly. Those are the only pros. The cons: we had to make a quick trip to Target to pick up some febreze because the smell of mildew was extremely strong. That was just a mild issue. There was no toilet paper and or tissue in the room, so immediately I had to retrieve some from the front desk. We came specifically to be able to take advantage of the indoor heated pool, and unfortunately we were advised that the technically it is heated They Don't really turn it on if they don't have a lot of people using it, so therefore we didn't get to enjoy the pool. Big disappointment. The breakfasts that they offered while I understand were bagged, were very weird. Options we're not really breakfast related at all except for the orange juice. I understand during the pandemic if you have certain rules to follow but, this was all very strange. Couldn't get water because we were advised they didn't have any. The second night we stayed we were finally able to get ice but no ice buckets. So while the price was really good and we really wanted to take advantage of being able to actually come to our favorite place to stay, we've definitely learned our lesson to wait until things are back to normal to consider staying here again. I'd like to say at best it was bare Bones, but that would be an overstatement as we had to fight to get the essentials. I shouldn't have to bring my own toilet paper to stay at a hotel.

  Buyer beware

  VERY. THIN. WALLS. You can hear every word of your neighbors conversations. All night long. Also traffic, as the hotel is on the bay front. Extremely lax masking protocol for employees. Not the cleanest. Basically, the only good thing it has going is pet friendly, which is why we booked here in the first place. Wouldnt recommend if you have literally any other option.
