TripWe stayed at this place during our visit to Melaka for the class trip. it is nice and convenient, the room that we stayed is triple room, the beds are big, can fit four of us. Our room have fridge, tv, aircond, fan, and dressing table. the toilet is clean. they also provide iron board as well as iron, dining table and microwave just outside your room. there are rooms without windows. the prince is okay. plus, the hotel is near to seven eleven. in case you are Christian, the church located infront of the hotel.

Sleepless night spent in a very noisy single roomThis hotel is located a good 40-minute walk away from Jonker Street, but is fairly convenient if you have a car since the hotel has parking spaces and there is also extra parking nearby that you can use. The hotel looks very pleasing to the eye and has a lift going up to all the floors. The hotel has all sorts of different kinds of rooms at fairly reasonable prices, mine being a single room on the 2nd floor (Room 221) which the owner pushed on me even though I wanted to stay in a larger room. My room was a small single room with a tiled floor and white walls. There was a comfortable single bed in the room plus a small wardrobe with an old cathode-ray tube TV on top. In addition to this, there was a small table on which there was a tray with a kettle, drinking glasses and ashtray next to which there was a small desk and chair with a wall-mounted mirror. There was also a very good Panasonic air conditioner in the room plus WiFi which worked satosfactorily. The bathroom was small, but functional. A comb, toothpaste and shampoo were provided. However, the flimsy towel provided, typical of many chrap Malaysian hotels, was not really suitable for showering as it is too small. So, I didnt take a shower. However, my room turned out to be exceptionally noisy. There was a dog barking on and off throughout the night as well as the sound of car alarms going off, music somewhere in the background and guests chatting in the sit-down area close by my room where there is also a microwave. However, there was worse to come : the people in the next room came back around midnight and were extremely noisy until about 3am and again after about 6am. The walls in the rooms are extremely thin and you can hear everything going on next door. As a result, I didn't sleep a wink and checked out in the morning even though my intention was to stay 2 nights. The main purpose of a hotel is to provide a sleeping environment for paying guests. If the guests cannot sleep, the hotel has failed in its mission. This is why I can only give this hotel 2 stars at very best, regardless of the nice fittings. After all, the owner pushed me to take this room. I arrived at the hotel wanting a twin or double room. Therefore, I believe the owner put me in this room deliberately as he knew it was a bad room.
