  comfortably family stay

  Our family of 2 adults and two teenagers stayed here Mid year 2019. It is not luxury however, it has all you need and is in a great location, having direct access to the beach across the road. Within short walking distance to shops, cafes and resturants. The apartments are a little dated but ours was clean. The weather conditions were not ideal for beach surfing or swimming so we used the swimming pool, tennis court (not in great condition if you are a tennis fanatic) but good enough for the family to have a hit. We also enjoyed a night of pool, table tennis and pinball games to keep the family occupied.There is an Indian Resturant on the reception level (food was great) who will also delivery to your room if you dont want to go to the Resturant. We didnt really care too much about the wi-fi as it was a good excuse to keep the teenagers off devices for a few days.

  Wedding Anniversary

  I booked Clubb Coolum as a wedding anniversary weekend and loved every minute of this beach adventure. One of the managers Denise I spoke to on the phone, gave us a higher view in the building. This view was spectacular despite the terrible fires near Noosa. I felt like I was on a cruise ship as you can see the beach and waves from every window including the bedrooms. Apartment 54 is modern and the decor gives the rooms a Beachy vibe. The apartment was cool with the sliding doors opened and it was a hot sticky weekend. We did not need the air con, just the fans. The kitchen has everything you need and I loved the black containers and white cabinets. We were in a two bedroom apartment. Lots of pillows which I love and most importantly the bed was comfortable. The complex has a pool, gym, sauna, games room to name a few of the facilities and even a restaurant downstairs. Bombay Bliss is an Indian restaurant and the food was delicious. On a Sunday night we had the restaurant almost to ourselves. So romantic on our anniversary night. Loved the staff too. The mango chicken was especially good and no spice. I dont normally eat Indian food but they won me over with their yummy dishes. Thank you Denise. Definitely be back again for another beach adventure.

  It's a lottery

  Best thing - the view, location, short walk to coffee shops etc. Not so good things - apartments are individually owned so what you get is a lottery. There doesn't appear to be a policy that owners must maintain units in an acceptable condition in order to continue to charge top dollar for a stay at this complex. For the money, you expect a certain level of accommodation. The carpet in our unit badly needed replacement. It was worn, dirty and badly laid. See photos. Showers needed uodating as they were grubby around the edges. Windows in bedrooms very dirty which is probably due to its location across from the surf, however more regular window cleaning may be necessary in that case. DVD player didn't work properly so couldn't view videos we borrowed. TV channels were pot luck. Some came through as audio only or not at all (9Life). I found reception staff to be variable. At times, stand offish and with a general air of 'dont care'. We enjoyed our time despite these shortcomings, but I expected a lot better for the orice.

  Felt unwanted :(

  We were made to feel unwelcome because we didnt book direct ... I was told that because we didnt book direct we should be sleeping in the basement. I booked this place after saving my credit card points for 2 years ... and to be made feel so uncomfortable is very bad service. But sadly the management did not care. In a year of trouble for the travel industry, I feel they should embrace every person who willingly chooses there accommodation. But sadly no :( Then when we got to our room, the view was great apart from the very unclean windows. The toilet seat wouldnt stay up, so that wasnt good, everything was dusty and grimy, there was left over food in the microwave and in the oven. We had to vacuum the lounge suit as there was sooo much food in between the cushions. Behind the lounge suit was food wrappers etc ... I could go on and on. The bed was comfortable. We will not be returning and I have told anyone who asks me about our long weekend away.

  Had a really great time, even though the weather wasnt good. Accomodation was very nice with great views from our room. No noise apart from the waves breaking. Friendly hosts & Coolum town very nice.
