  Un buen alojamiento económico

  Un alojamiento óptimo y limpio, además de céntrico, en la autovía Gold Coast. Dispone de todas las instalaciones necesarias, incluyendo aire acondicionado, lavadora y secadora. Parece estar en la ruta de muchos autobuses. Me asignaron una habitación que prácticamente daba a la parte de atrás (pienso que si estás en las de la fachada puedes tener algún problema con el ruido del tráfico si la carretera estuviera cerca). Puede dormir una pareja y como mucho uno más (¿un niño?). Creo que el propietario actual está intentándo venderlo.

  Not suitable for families

  No hot water, very old and unclean, toilet seat came off. Mould and green stains all over curtains. No spare sheet or blanket for fold out bed. Fold out bed covered in dirt and popcorn... was not somewhere for kids at all. However still had all the basics plus a washing machine and dryer. Manager was very lovely.

  Wouldn't put a stray dog in there

  I need start off by saying that the staff were very helpful. That's the only reason it's got a rating of one not zero. Dirty, old and run down, with one of the permanent residence having a fight with a drunk man staying there. Dented doors, broken cabinets, beds that were rock hard. We left after the first night as it wasn't safe for a family. Cheap for a reason.

  Value for money

  The accommodation is very goodas per the amount spent. The room service is not good but it is value for money. The place is near by many attractions. If you don't spend whole day in the room then this is the good place to stay.

  O.M.G ripped off...!!

  We looked at suitable accommodation for 2 nights stay in Surfers, the place looked ok from the outside, nice pool, spa and games room, unfortunately that is where it finished, we booked a suite via the internet, ( $288 for two nights) the room we got (room 2) was a joke , not only was it small, it stunk of detergent, the Family/suite was a bed on rollers, the couch was broken, the kitchen was small with ONLY 1 power point working, NO coffee or tea, the small cooker had dried food on it and the fridge belonged in a garage not a room, the "main room" was poor, once again the bed was on rollers and moved when you did!!, the bedside drawers were out of the ark, the Balcony door was very hard to open and when we did we found that there was junk stored there ( I removed it), then we looked into the bathroom..the shower screen doors were hanging off, the window was rusted and it took me ages to close so we did not hear the noise from the highway AND NO soap at all, the toilet and shower must have been joined up as when you had a shower it flushed into the toilet, there was a dryer and washing machine but they had so much rust on them I thought it was better not to try them..BUT WAIT it gets better !!!! the cockroaches in the bathroom were huge and were hard to get rid of, and for entertainment we listened to the bloke above us in 22 telling the manager and anyone else to "go away".... Booking into the place was even harder, it is locked and the reception area is locked, I rang the bell several times and after @10 minutes I rang, the lovely Alice answered and oped the door for me, I then found out the Manager is is arrogant and lacking in talking English was sitting there watching me..poor service, I asked several questions and got nothing but a shake of his shoulders, for the price we paid it was a huge rip off, if it was not for the fact we had paid vai Hotels we would have moved, the one good thing about the place was the Lovely service lady Alice who was not only helpful but extremely polite..I urge anyone who is thinking about staying there to go else where..there is a back packers down the road with better rooms etc.
