Great little place.Contrary to the bad reviews, this is a lovely place. A little bit rough round the edges, but nothing terrible. I didn't pay 5 star money so didn't expect 5 star facilities, but what it does have is lovely spacious rooms, a really good big pool and all clean. Bar is not expensive compared to a lot of the bars/restaurants. Location is great, a few mins from the beach or the shops etc.

Sorry looking complex.Another residence I've recently been to that could be great. When you arrive you go to a tired drab reception. Your met politely, then told it will cost you for safe deposit box that's not fixed to wall or floor. Then having to pay £5 a night for AC. Taken to apartment. Apartment was decent size but dated and showing signs of wear and tear. No toaster and only 2 cooking rings. Did have big fridge and ice box. Apartment was clean. We had apartment 1333. Probably the best for views and near enough to pick up bar/reception WIFI. The pool was a good size. Unfortunately some tiles coming off and water didn't feel clean. Used pool but showered afterwards. Pool area was dirty. Straws, litter and dog ends in little ditches and ashtrays not emptied. Plenty of sun beds, but not totaly clean. Bar was average. Played rap music with its naughty words, that kids could listen to. Music changed I think after someone mentioned it. Notice bare railings at kids pool, that could be harmful. Location about 5 to 10 mins to center of Gumbet and beach. At nearby main road (50 metres). You can catch the Dolbus to Bodrum costing 4 Lira. Paid initial £30 per night. So can't complain about price. If modernised and employed more staff. This could be a little gem. But I suppose the price would go up. Must admit we met some nice people and had a laugh. It was great for people watching. Our holiday was great. Cant put photos on, too much mb. I've tried to be objective.

Tired with uninterested staffGood bits first! Room OK, as after all it was basic Turkish accommodation. It was cleaned a couple of times and bed linen and towels were changed. The pool was fine with plenty of sun beds. However, staff were rude and unresponsive to any requests. Frequently the music was turned up to the maximum, but unfortunately, only the waiters wanted to listen to what the majority of the holidaymakers I spoke to referred to as Turkish Rap! They were asked to turn it down, but basically we were ignored. The food was atrocious. An English breakfast was cooked in old, well used oil and so everything was covered in black burnt crud! The bar closed early and overall customer service was poor. On my last day I asked for some tea and toast as I was being picked up at 10.30am for my flight. Firstly I was told that the chef did not start until 09:30. I went back then, to be told that the chef didnt start until 10am. In the meantime, the 2 staff who were on, sat there and prepared themselves a full breakfast and ate it in front of me. I gave it a miss! Plenty of better hotels in Gumbet. Avoid!

could do with make overjust came back from hear stayed for 7 days hotel very basic staff willing to help as much as they can 10 minutes walk to local bars shops beach etc the major problem to the left hand side of the apartments the local Turkish neighbours have houses and dogs they are quiet all day then start barking at night as soon as one starts there all at it you would think that the owners would take them in but they don't there out all night every night barking didn't get much sleep wouldn't go again if you've booked take my advice take plenty of earplugs you will need them

assault on 14 year old daughterThe head barman Hakan (small, slim with thick short grey hair and a big nose)came across as a normal friendly guy in his 40's. The staff got to know our family and new how old our girls were. One night he tried to kiss my 14 year old daughter intimately. She pushed him off and was very frightened, we reported it straight away to management. They and the other staff were appalled and apologetic and felt embarrassed for what had happened. He was immediately sacked and kicked out of the resort, we were reassured that word would get out locally and he would struggle to find work again. For my daughter, she wanted never to see him again and try to forget the disgusting incident. This sadly put a dampener on what would of otherwise been a fabulous holiday. The other staff were lovely, the pool and apartments catered for all our needs, with the beach within a 15 minute walk. Please don't let this put you off Club Peladisa, they believed my daughter without question, they reassured me he would never work there again. In posting this I hope it ensures a guarantee he doesn't ever return. There are perverts and weirdo's everywhere
