Recommended ResortClub Mahindra Jaisalmer is a nice property. It is scattered in a large area which gives you amazing sense of space. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Close to the airport. The restaurant serves sumptuous meals. The team is proactive and warm. The resort follows all necessary precautions. Only flip side : phone network is limited and there is no bar. Images from Diwali decoration at the resort shared !

Needs improvementThe rooms were fine and spacious however, neither the buffet spread was wide nor was the taste. The evening entertainment arrangement was mediocre. Staff was highly courteous especially the head chef and the captain at the restaurant.

Almost perfect with a few nuancesThe resort is on located outside the city just like other club Mahindra locations. The place offers a very comfortable stay. The staff is very hospitable with clear and strict covid guidelines. Our visit needed some office space as well which the property manager Arjun helped us with. The motto of "seva" by club Mahindra is clearly at showcase here. This was my second visit to this place and I plan to do a third one as well. The Hotel also offers numerous activities ranging from ebike rides to poolside campfire as well. If you visit this place,It will be worthwhile.

Average Experience With The Most Terrible FoodHello, I stayed in this property from 16th Dec 2020 for 4 days as we are club mahindra member there are several things which i would like to mention Most Terrible FOOD: The food is overpriced but that's a different story but then also you expect a good taste for the food which is served to you at such a high price, for instance the on our first day we ordered lal maas in which was pathetic and the meat felt like a chewing gum we are not talking about the taste but the quality of ingredients which should be used, as taste might differ from person to person and ending up we did not had that lal maas at all. Second thing we also ordered rabri ghewar which is a traditional rajasthani dessert and of cause as you would expect your ghewar to be topped with lost of almond and pistachio flakes our was topped with cherry and asking the chef would make you laugh like hell, which i would discuss in the end. Third we got to know that people in the kitchen are not familiar with the traditional rajasthani cuisine even though being in rajasthan then we thought to order manchurian and noodles so that we could at least find something good about the food at this place but we were wrong again as the food which we ordered was extensively salty, and again we ended up leaving the food but this time I called the room service guy and asked him to show this to the chef cooking the food and also asked him to taste it and he could also claim that the food was very salty. You would ask why we were eating the food in the resort when the food quality is not good and to answer that we had no option as the nearest place to eat was 9 km from the resort and you would not find anything near the resort and walking out of the resort in the night is not possible as the roads are very dark without even a single street light and filled with potholes. Now lets get back to the basics that why food quality was not maintained, when I have met the chef he claimed himself as the executive chef, as he said I am a sous chef (Second in Command) but as there is no executive chef in the property I am managing everything, and he just graduated 2 years back from the collage I belong to the hotel Industry and spend almost 8 years in the industry I know it takes an average of 10 years for a hotel management graduate specialized in kitchen to become a sous chef of it depends upon various other factors as well, So it is my humble request to club mahindra please maintain the quality as it was maintained earlier now the quality of food in many of your resorts are trending towards nose dip, and of cause maintain the quality of workforce as they are your front line army they should be specialized enough in the task which they should do Other than that the house keeping was good the resort was well kept and maintained, covid guidelines were perfectly followed, The food service staff was also not well experienced as they did not even know the basics of food service, That's all and for everyone travelling to this place please carry packed food items and try to have your breakfast and lunch near the jaisalmer fort as there are many good options around the city.
