  A great Resort for families

  Dear trippers, this year we visited a different resort in Side. Club grand side is very spacious and with an occupation of 25% it was not too crowded, The family room is quite big and separated with 2 doors to the kids room. This accomodation is ideal for families because there are lots of pools and slides in the water world area. The buffet is plenty and tasteful. We had a great time (8 nights) and lots of sun. So if you are looking for a great deal with great service and clean rooms and good buffets this is the place to be! We visited Side by taxi for only 20,- return the cab driver took us there in only 20 minutes. Well see for yourself and enjoy your stay in this wonderful resort.

  Very good hotel for families

  Great hotel with beautiful garden. The best thing is Amazon Water World, we spent there 10 days with 2 year old boy and we all have a great time. Rooms clean and spacious. Good food, nice idea with snack bar next to the pool. I would recommend it to all who want to spent nice holidays with families.

  Very good resort for family

  A good resort, especially for families, great water activities, good food, do not expect steaks and evening shows were good this year they Raised the price I gave up Some of the activities do not work (at least while I was) despite the pictures like the soccer field, the bowling alley and the small zoo

  Mornings @ the beach

  We had a great holiday. Beautiful clean hotel, friendly staff, lots of pools and waterslides. Enough to fill up you're days, starting with a walk down to the beach! Met some sweet people and came back very relaxed. What else do you want. They only thing I didn't like was the fact that everybody claimed a chair early in the morning. We will be back next year!

  Beautiful resort, but managed liked a factory

  The resort is beautiful, especially the adjacent waterpark. It has lush gardens with cabanas, keeping you away from the noise of animation teams. music etc. Most people in the resort run in the morning towards the animation areas, which made the area in the gardens really relaxed. The kids loved the waterpark. But they hated the limited availability of the attractions. The wild water river is only open for 2 hours and the slides only for about 4 hours a day. My main concern is safety, I have only seen maximum 2 lifeguards on this large waterpark. Food was good. Enough choice for everyone. At the adjacent Club Grand Aqua they offer BBQ during the buffet. The "a la carte' restaurant is a farce. We had to book about a week before and immediate had to choose what we wanted to eat one week later. If I know what I like to eat a week later....A week later, at dinner the guests at the table next to us got something served they didn't order. The staff was very rude to them: The guest was wrong and the hotel right, they couldn't get anything else. In general service is far below 5 star. Everything is planned and organised, like you are in a very efficient factory. Some examples: We were with 5 persons. When we arrived at the terrace for dinner no large table was available anymore. Shifting 2 tables in a corner together was not allowed, which forced us to have dinner inside At arrival first day our kids wanted to swim. But we were too late. Swimming pools are still open, but towels desk closes at 5.30PM. No way to get towels, no one including reception staff had any idea and suggested to have the kids swim a day later.... At the gaming zone there is no staff. If you want to drink something there or want to buy coins you need to walk about 5 minutes to get a staff member walk with you to open the bar in the gaming zone for a few minutes again. Cleaning in the rooms is poor. Dirt and empty glasses were often not taken way. One day we found our bathroom back as in the attached picture. All our stuff was pushed together in a corner. In general the rooms are quiet. But we were, like many other, close to the service area. Almost every night between 2 and 3 AM I got woken up by the noise of carriage containers being emptied. Who got to the brilliant idea to do this in the night with tens of rooms around the area? WIFI in the resort is very poor. Also the paid WIFI doesn't work so don't spend your money on it. When you complain about it, the answer of the guest manager was: "It works fine at my phone" and that was it. Don't expect the staff to greet you when you walk into them at the resort. Many don't say anything back when you say "hello" to them. Language skills of the staff is very poor in general. Conclusion: Resort is very nice, but service is far below 5 star service. It looks like the staff is driven by fear and the guest is not king, but procedures are king.
