BasicThis hotel was one of the most basic that I have ever had the misfortune to stay in. The rooms are incredibly small, facilities are limited (no hairdryer, no toiletries). The windows have bars against them, the shower is so small you can barely turn around in it, towels as an issue as I understand they are trying to save the environment. Thoroughly disappointed is all I can say about the rooms. The food was ok. It is well placed for skiing but if you like your creature comforts this place is not the place to stay.

Teeny tiny room.Start with the positives first, the hotel is clean and the food is perfectly good especially when comparing to the prices at restaurants nearby. There's a happy hour, but sadly it only applies to Heineken, not local beers. The rooms have a fridge and a TV although no English channels. We paid Crystal extra so our room would be upgraded from a double to a triple room with three beds. The rooms was tiny and only had two beds. We complained to reception and the manager said that's what Crystal booked and it's not their problem. I checked the TripAdvisor reviews and it was a common problem with travellers getting small rooms. I phoned Crystal and they said we booked a 17m2 room and the other room is 14m2. Fortunately our Crystal rep was excellent and arranged for a member of hotel staff to measure our room. We thought the room would be the bedroom, but they measured everything including in the hall and bathroom. It came to 15.6m2. The she'd talk to her manager about the issue.

Basic but affordableWe stayed here for a weeks skiing. Having stayed before we knew what to expect. The rooms are very small, one radiator hidden behind the desk made drying wet ski gear difficult. No English tv channels. The shower cubicle is small but plenty of hot water. Good sized wardrobe/cupboard for clothes, but only three knobs to hang ski gear on. Food was better than previously, although the large cafeteria style dining room still very crowded, children running round with plates of food. Large choice of food, but could be hotter. I always used the microwave (for heating baby food) so mine was always hot. Helpful staff and very busy, always clearing/cleaning tables. Evening entertainment always in French, but bar area pleasant to sit in. Overall it does what it should do, provide reasonable accommodation and food whilst allowing you to ski the whole Three Valleys area without breaking the bank.

Great LocationIt is as their website states a child friendly hotel. The restaurant felt more like a self service canteen with lots of kids running around. We would definitely prefer half the choice and twice the quality of the food on offer. Many supposed hot dishes were cold when they came from the kitchen. Staff were all friendly and helpful, but not enough of them at busy meal times.
