Club27 Moscow....OutdatedFor years I've been using this hotel near center of Moscow for business trips. Must admit service has been improvoing but facilities didn't. Facilities are outdated, full carpet in all rooms, large wall painting, large clean bathrooms but .... ANd fro this price you can now get better in Moscow.

Nice Hotel... But the Beds... UghhhInteresting hotel in a nice location at a reasonable price for Moscow. The decor is probably not something you'd go for in your own home, but it sure lets you know you're in Moscow and helps you feel the history of the building itself. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms more than satisfactory. WiFi works perfectly and the staff was very friendly and helpful (but with limited English- difficult to order a taxi). The breakfast was good too. Lots of choices and of good quality + good coffee and teas. But... and this is a big one for me... the mattress was the most uncomfortable I've ever experienced in a hotel at that price point. We're talking rock-hard. For some people this is a good thing. For me, well, it means a restless/painful experience. Therefore, despite all the good, I'll never be able to stay here again. Too bad.

A very old world hotel with huge rooms and fantastic bathroomsThe hotel as such is an old hotel of the soviet era, but well maintained. The rooms are large and spacious and well furnished. they have provided a kettle with amenities for making tea/coffee. The flip side is that there aren't any decent restaurants nearby and the in house restaurant is not all that great. Another dampener here is that only one or two staff speak English and the rest of them speak only Russian.

Great locationThis hotel is only a short walk from Patriachs Pond park and the parks surrounding streets have lots of cool bars and restaurants and some fashion stores. Close to metro stop also. These are the positives. The negatives are very hard beds, breakfast buffet is ok not brilliant. The staff are a bit glum which is a contrast to all the Russians we had met in our first week. Room on 1st floor was spacious as was the bathroom. The hotel is a repurposed mansion and the decoration is antique style. Room for improvement in the above areas would make this an excellent boutique place to stay.

BeautifulI really enjoyed the interior design in public areas and the room as well. There were no concierge. Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. Location is very good. If you are interested into a classic hotel, do not miss this one.
