  Nos quedamos tres noches. Personal muy muy amable. Desayuno correcto. Todo muy nuevo y limpio. Localización buena. Típico hotel de ciudad sin decoración de hoteles de vacaciones pero no importa. Me volvería a quedar.

  Hotel nuevo cerca de los Templos

  Hotel muy nuevo, en calles pequeñas cerca de las Pagodas importantes. No es barato para lo que realmente es finalmente pero por la zona es lo que valen o mucho más. Cerca del Lago y a medio camino entre el centro y el aeropuerto. Desayuno bueno. La zona de piscina es pequeña, en la parte alta.

  Great to have washer and dryer in apartment

  We chose the Clover Suites as we would be spending 4 nights, then leaving for 10 nights and then staying for another 5 nights before traveling for another 2 weeks. It was great to have the washer and dryer in the apartment so that we could prepare for our travels. But when the electricity went out and the back up generator did not work it was very frustrating as we could no longer use them. The plumbing in the bathrooms was not very stellar and we had to move to another room after a problem with the toilet could not be fixed. There was a new building on the early stages of construction with work going on through the night so request a room on the other side. The staff were very young but tried their best to help us with questions and concerns that we had but there seemed to be a lack of management on site to support them. The breakfast was sufficient with many choices although the hot plates tended not to be turned on all the time causing the food to be cold. The location is within walking distance to Shwedagon pagoda, Kandawgyi lake, Bogyoke Aung San museum and the Myanmar Motion Picture museum.

  Great location and amenities for a serviced apartment

  We needed a serviced apartment for staying in Yangon twice for a total of about 10 nights. We wanted the ability to do our own laundry as we would be travelling up country also for about 10 days. A few sincere and hopefully constructive recommendations - our toilet wasn't working (completely blocked!). When we reported it, the staff came to fix it, but also asked us not to flush toilet paper in the WC! We had to explain that the sole purpose of the WC is to flush down toilet paper (and the waste). We also explained that hotel guests should not be told to put toilet paper in the little waste bins in the bath room, as that would be GROSS! They moved us to another room where the toilet was functioning, but the washer in that room wasn't, so they had to swap out the washer with another unit from the room next door. Speaking of laundry - electricity went out (a city wide problem, not the hotel's fault) and they have a generator. However, their generator couldn't support the washer/dryer so the W/D did not work during the power outage. We were out of clean clothes and couldn't do laundry which defeated the purpose of us booking a serviced apartment with a W/D. Worse yet, the generator ran out of fuel so no electricity while the guys went out to get more fuel. This happened a few times during the few days of power outage. It is difficult to blame the staff as they were very young, eager to please, but seemed like they were not getting appropriate training and support from hotel management. The restaurant was ok, breakfasts were not brilliant (basic rule - keep the food warm!), and the restaurant staff needs to be trained to smile and be more sociable (come on guys, show that famous Burmese hospitality and warmth!) Location was great for us (it will vary for others depending on your purpose) and the hotel has all necessary amenities for a serviced apartment and the rooms were spacious. They just need to get with the program, up their game to meet international standards, and properly train their staff and support the staff! Especially now with the Covid problem, also a good idea to regularly wipe and disinfect all your surfaces, esp doors and door handles, elevator control panels and railings, etc. Hope this is helpful and that you dont take this the wrong way.

  Nice place to relax in weekend

  We were looking for a place to relax during weekend and clover was right choice. Comfort bed , breakfast is just Ok (understood during covid period) , pool on 5th floor was truly relax (need some shade around). Wifi need to improve, A little problem we had was credit card machine while we settled payment( sadly we tried 3 cards and final solution was KBZ pay , although we prefer Visa :(. However, our stay wasnt disappointed, will return next time.
