  Excellent Value

  I stayed here last weekend and thought the place was excellent. Rooms are clean and well decorated. There is a library room for guests to relax in if they wish to do so and the breakfast included is lovely too. Well worth staying and I will return when visiting family in the area again!

  Fantastic gem on Ocean Road

  Beautiful guest house, furnishings just lovely, one of the most comfortable beds weve slept in, everywhere spotlessly clean, fantastic breakfast and really friendly and professional staff. Would highly recommend The Clifton in fact we are booked in again this weekend, as family live down here, I see us becoming regulars

  Lovely Hotel

  The room was very clean, modern and warm. Had a lovely tasty gluten free breakfast I was so pleased they cater for celiacs. Staff and owners are friendly and very helpful they even chilled a bottle of wine for me! Would definitely recommend this hotel.

  Lovely decorated hotel and made very welcome.

  The hotel itself was really well presented and the room was lovely. We were made to feel welcome and they fussed the dog with treats and water. It was local to where we wanted to be and there were 2 lovely parks and the end of the road, perfect for the dog. The breakfast was a bit sloppy and the coffee not pleasant, but was generally acceptable. Couldn't fault anything else though and would stay again if in the area.

  Good Hotel with Excellent Service

  First time I've stayed with this Hotel and certain it won't be the last. Met by Scott on my arrival who explained that due to the present Covid restrictions, the restaurant/coffee lounge was temporarily closed. However, his advice and recommendations regarding eating locally and being able to order in to eat in my room were excellent. Similarly, breakfast was served to my room, which was freshly cooked and hot without any fuss and inline with the proper Covid guidelines. The room was big enough for me to work and relax in and the bed was very comfortable. Please note, that they are just bedroom sized, so if you're looking for more space then perhaps speak with the hotel regarding a suite sized room. Ocean Road has a plethora of eateries, so Scott's local knowledge is a boon when looking to make a good choice.
