  It's Cheaper for a Reason

  This is a nice property but dated. The people were wonderful (check in) but the room needed help. Clean, but you get what you paid for. Internet was down (not sure how long it had been). The water in the room was an indicator - shower didn't have a stopping point so you had to play with handle until water stopped. Hot water was a bit of a challenge to find. Breakfast was average at best, coffee bad. It was $80/night which was good (with breakfast) but don't get to excited about the property.

  Great room for the price!

  This place is a work in progress, but I have stayed here several times since 2015 and the efforts show. I see new improvements with each stay and the rooms are nice, beds are comfortable, free breakfast is much better than most hotels, and the staff is friendly. It's not perfect but they are working on improving and I always enjoy staying here.

  Week-long Fishing Trip

  I would stay here again! I was able to come along with my husband on a fishing trip. He had booked this hotel based on the amenities that he needed for having a boat in tow:ample parking, available electric. The location of our room was perfect. The surrounding area has many restaurants and stores. The hotel staff was the absolute best on all accounts. They were so personable and helpful at all times! We were there shortly after reopening following coronavirus, so the hotel was not fully staffed or filled and the clean, sparkly pool was closed. The hotel lobby is large, beautiful, and welcoming. There is notable room for improvement in guest rooms, but it is apparent that hotel management is working toward making upgrades on outdated fixtures and decor throughout the establishment. The appearance of the room was nice. The beds in our room had comfortable pillows and weren't too bad to sleep on (somehow got better each night lol). The shower nozzel was fit for an NBA player! My tall husband was happy to not have to bend while showering. The hot water is super HOT! ! Be careful. The room definitely could have been cleaner, but fishermen don't usually notice that sort of thing. Lol The most annoying issue was that all but one electric outlets were somehow so loose that plugs just fell out. That may not be the case in each room, but it was for ours. I had several nice pictures, but the files are too big and they won't resize. Ugh.

  I found the rooms excellent. The staff was always helpful. House keeping is always timely,patient friendly in the doing of thier jobs. I was surprised at how important the 24 hour coffee and computer access have become. The wifi is faster and better than any I have encountered. Even with all this COVID-19 stuff going on, the hotel staff doesn't miss a beat. I would definitely stay here again.

  A really great place to stay

  Going between Nashville and Mississippi, this is a real gem of a place to stay. Really clean rooms, and cozy too! The friendly front desk staff are very helpful. If you need housekeeping, they are gracious and comply with what you need.
