  Hockey tournament

  The Clarion hotel was clean and had comfortable beds. Pillows were way too soft however. The issues we had at this hotel were actually surprising to us. First- check in was quick- but the directions to the door that was suggested to us- were not clear. The guy that gave us the directions responded to me I guess I forgot to mention that the door was around the east side of the building. This was frustrating- but not a huge deal. The second problem came when we returned from our sons hockey game to find our door open. We were trusting- and left many things in our room (laptop, iPads, an iPhone). We were very lucky that those things were still there- and there were just 2 bottles of unopened alcohol missing. When we approached the front desk regarding this I was asked a million questions- and was basically called a liar (which she claimed she was not). We are hoping to be back at this hockey tournament next year- as Brandon is a great place to spend a weekend. We will not be back if this is the only hotel we have as a choice. The $30 discount on the inflated prices was an insult- and didnt even cover the alcohol that was taken. But- we had no interest in going back to talk to the woman at the desk- so we will just absorb that $$. I would recommend that you stay anywhere else in Brandon. As far as Im concerned- customer service at this hotel was second rate. Maybe we would have been treated better if we had sprung for a suite (the people who were allowed to park in the parkade).

  Great family hotel

  We stayed two nights at the Clarion while visiting family in Brandon. The family themed suite was great for our family of 5. We chose this hotel specifically because they have reopened their pool and we were not disappointed. The pool, water slide and hot tub were great for the kids. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very modern, nicely renovated bathroom. Hallways are a bit dark though and could use some updating. Will definitely consider this hotel again the next time we are in Brandon.

  Great Stay

  My Husband and I along side our 2 children stayed here for 3 nights mid-july. Our room was immaculately clean, spacious & very comfortable. Upon arrival we noticed however our room had no hand soap, shampoo, no toiletries. I found this odd especially during a global pandemic, but minor. The pool here was phenomenal. The pool attendant, I cant remember her name but she was lovely - very sweet to my kids. I enjoyed talking with her. My only small complaint, is that during our stay, (we stayed on the 5th floor) ; the hallway constantly smelled of cannabis smoke. We were in the process of moving across Canada & coming and going frequently from the hotel. Every time we would open our hotel room door, morning, noon, night the overpowering smell would waft in. Despite signs everywhere indicating the building is smoke-free. All in all it was a good stay, and my kids loved the pool. We would stay here again.

  Decent Place

  Went there for an overnight trip and just got back. Front desk service is average but Echo resturant will really blow the minds of whoever goes there-they are reasonably priced and give out generous food portions. The hotel is also VERY clean and the housekeepers deserve the tips they get-not one spot could be found in the hotel.

  Rude front desk staff

  Needed help from front desk one evening. Very rude and unprofessional. Made me feel bad for even asking for help. Not sure why shes working in the hospitality industry as she was very inhospitable. Will not be recommending or using this hotel again.
