  Do not stay here..

  Friday night we pulled up to stay at the hotel for my grandmother's funeral the next day. The hotel is nasty and between myself and two other family members we changed rooms 7 TIMES. Twice for me, twice for a cousin and three times for another. The room I finally ended up in had a broken smoke detector that someone finally just took off the ceiling because they could not fix it. The rooms are stale and questionably clean at best. The customer service is also awful and it looks nothing like what is advertised. They made a difficult weekend even worst. DO NOT STAY HERE.

  Worst Second Time Around

  First time the room was great. I was solo. Second time my friend came with me. Second floor and amost the last room on the floor. What the heck. Very disappointed. Keys wouldn't work and the room half clean. Nasty refrigerator and window in bathroom. The room smelled old and stale. The hotel was not full. This time I didn't check out my room before bringing my things up. I couldn't stay two nights. I canceled pur second night right then and there. We checked out early. A very restless night.

  Trip away from home

  The staff at the Ramada are very friendly and helpful. Even though a older hotel it is clean and pleasant to stay at. They are currently under renovation so can't wait to see the finished product. The beds are very comfortable.. With COVID-19 most of the public areas are closed like the Pool but that is everywhere in the state of Louisiana at this time. They apologize for the inconvenience and we all know it's not their fault. They have a $5.00 lunch at the restaurant during the weekdays and it is a great value.

  DO NOT BOTHER TO STAY HERE

  Under renovation, the heat IS NOT WORKING. The staff tried to accommodate but the rooms are too cold. I wish Id known that beforehand. Not pleased. And because of COVID, NOTHING IS OPENED other than the bar which the area is freezing.

  DO NOT STAY HERE UNTIL THEY HAVE FULLY UPGRADED

  This place is nasty and the cleaning is horrible. When we checked in the Lobby smelled old and needs to be renovated. The elevator doesn't work, the stairs are nasty, the room wasn't cleaned, didn't have any tiles and the toilet wouldn't flush. They upgraded our room to a suite but it was just as bad. The room smelled of smoke, toilet seat was nasty and again the toilet was barely working. I would suggest that Wyndham needs to shut this place down until it looks like other Wyndham Hotels.
