Consider This A Good Place To Stay......but not necessarily a good place to sleep. This place is noisy with a capital N. There's probably nothing that can be done, as people are apparently coming and going at all hours due to the nearby airport. But after it took a long time for nighttime ambient noise to abate, then late-comers/early-goers still talked loud in the hallway. Being awakened at 2 a.m. by hallway conversation is rough. Add to that, this place seems to operate with a bare minimum of staff. On the plus side, room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Would NOT recommend. Lots of reasons.Arrived at 2pm, was told check in is 3pm. No discussion. I asked it we could check in early. She said "check in is 3pm". End of discussion. Well then. We left and came back at 2:55 and I guess that was close enough for her. IDK. So.....Very rundown property. Used to be nice....not any more. Not a great neighborhood. Luggage carts very rickety to start. Could barely push with our luggage. Badly stained hallway carpeting. Room was well appointed but not maintained. Tile floors, though, not carpet. Kinda sticky. Hmm. Toilet was terribly stained, towel rack very loose. Nothing glaring until......on our second night upon returning to the room we noticed the room key didn't work. After messing with it for a few minutes we pushed on the door and it opened right up. IT WASN'T EVEN LOCKED. It had been unlocked the entire time we were gone. Didn't want to deal with it middle of the night so hit the deadbolt inside and started to watch tv. THEN.....a roach just strolls out from under the bed and across the room. Like a 1 inch roach. Huge. Just Awesome. He seemed content under the AC unit so we left that alone also. In the morning we asked to have a manager come to our room to verify the door situation. He was "On a conference call" and couldn't be bothered. They sent someone else to come check. We played with the door and found that if the door is slammed shut it would lock. But at the distance we were releasing it, it did not. Still unacceptable. She noted our concerns and we followed her downstairs. The manager was out of his meeting now, she explained the issues, and without acknowledging me at all, grumbled "just give them a free night". It his mind problem solved. Well, yes, a free night was helpful, but clearly his attitude is why the place looks like that. He loses a little cash by giving a free room, but nothing changes. I would NOT recommend this property at all. They just don't care about your experience.

Horrible, trash hotel, trash service,Booked this hotel for 4 nights as I come to Atlanta once a month every month for business we decided to try this hotel due to a cheaper rate and a 3.5 star rating. Let's start off by saying this hotel in reality is maybe a 2star if that. Upon arrival after a 9hr car ride we were informed that we did indeed have a reservation for two my wife and I for a king bed and king room. But due to their systems they could not finish the paperwork or putting a card on file. Hey no problem lady at front desk Gave me our keys and said she would call me in a hour to finalize the room paperwork cards ect. Once we get into our room 108 there are stains on the curtains. Pink paint or something running down the bathroom door. Black mold on the popcorn ceiling, the toilet bowl tank lid didn't even go to the toiled rather a different model and laid on top, paint running peeling off walls. My bedside table which is fixed to the wall smashed and barley hanging onto the wall. At first beside the mold I was like eh I don't want to be one of those people, but it gets better once I was called to finish paperwork I was told there was a 9.50 cent resort fee. Lol resort fee for this peach of a hotel in a crap part of town. I was assured the resort fee covered parking, security, and the grab and go breakfast. All listed as "free" on their website and online. I'm that case I'm going to need a different room if I'm going to be paying an extra 50 bucks plus a mandatory $100 hold for 10days after checkout on my card. Explained the poor room. Front desk lady latosha latisha something of that fashion gave me keys to another room 300 once and my wife carried our luggage down to the elevator which was out of order we were redirected to the other end of the hotel to another elevator next to a exit door overly wrapped up with caution take saying if u use this door you will be removed from property no refunds lmao seriously I can't make this up. We get up to room 300 open door and what do you know it's an occupied room look like someone lives there a lady approached us from the hallway can I help yall. This is my room iv been here for a while. She was pissed bc now our keys canceled her keys. We go back to front desk lady In 300 has already called front desk and cussed her out by now I'm sure. Front desk them tells me she didn't know about the long term resident in 300 and was just informed by the lady in 300. We then had to wait for the front desk lady to call her manager which ended up them telling us we have no more king rooms ready but if u want you can take a twin room.or a double room at 50 percent off the total stay this was a inconvenience to my wife and I bc were is the fun in that. Alass we agreed to take discounted double bed room. Double room was even more outdated then the last 2, slamming door, loud people all night till 2 3am. Today is sat Jan 9th and after talking to hotels.com they called the hotel and were told by some rude lady at the hotel that they infant upgraded us substantially and there is no discount. Which is a complete lie. I then call to clear up the situation with the front desk lady amd it's not the same lady but a woman called morine a rude sorry excuse for an employee . Was rude nasty said she didn't have time to talk on the phone she busy. She has actual customers in front of her and when I asked to speak to a manager said I'd have ti wait till Monday because there is no management. No one in charge. Everyone is apparently their own manager on the weekend however with no authority to do anything for the customers. Iv spent 3 hours on the phone with hotels.com. choice hotels who they are part of a group with. And the hotel themselves to basically get no where. Refusal of general management's name and phone number. Refusal of their prior verbal agreement, refusal of a professional employee, Refusal of being talked to politely and rationally instead like a ghetto piece of trash. Do no stay here It is not even good for a quick few nights for a business visit let alone am actual visit to Atlanta to see the city or go to the aquarium or something Stay somewhere far away.
