  Nice and Simple / Agradable y simple

  We stayed one night in the Clarenville Inn. The rooms were very confortable and nice and the facility over all was great. It's not a luxurious hotel, but I think that the prize-quality relation is fair. Everything was clean and cared. Pasamos una noche en el Clarenville Inn. Las habitaciones eran cómodas y las instalaciones en general estaban muy bien. No es un hotel de lujo, pero creo que la relación de calidad precio es justa. Todo estaba limpio y bien cuidado.

  SOLID OPTION

  This was a good base for our group to visit along the Discovery Trail [up to Bonavista and Trinity]. There was a second tour group in on the second night, the location right on the Trans Canada Highway ideal for transportation purposes. Due to that relative isolation, most people ate at the restaurant both nights. It does have a very good restaurant. The hotel has a pool and sauna, premium items in the province. The décor is not fancy. The room was more than adequate with a large bed. Toiletries were fine. I had a balcony. Coffee/tea facilities were available. You will not be wowed by the place but it is a solid choice for a base or if passing through.

  Spotlessly clean!!

  My mother and I stayed overnight at the Clarenville Inn and it was spotless as usual. The lobby, common areas and public washrooms are immaculate. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are tasteful and comfortable.

  Great option for families

  We stayed here as part of a cross-Newfoundland staycation and used the hotel as a base to explore the Clarenville and Terra Nova area. The property was spotless, rooms were comfortable and well equipped, food was good and the kids loved the heated pool. We ended up spending an extra day just to enjoy a relaxing pool day. Definitely recommend for families looking for a getaway. Due to Covid capacity restrictions, it can be difficult to get reservations in the dining room, so reserve ahead! Also, hopefully more lighting is installed around the pool area since it is open until 10:00 and is quite dark.

  Great little hotel

  We enjoyed our stay here. So the staff at front desk and housekeeping were fantastic. Room was big. Liked the balcony and view. The kids loved the pool. All was very clean, sanitized regularly. After room is used, it gets clean and remains out of service for 48 hours. Everything has a sanitized label on it to let you know it was recently disinfected. We will for sure be back on another staycation. However here are a couple of issues I have and these Center on the pool. It is open till 10 at night but once it gets dark outside, the lighting in the pool is very poor and it's hard to see. Second the hotel seemed to adhere to all safety protocols in relation to covid except the pool. It was packed the weekend, overly full. So not able to follow physical distancing. More than 50 percent capacity. Perhaps they need to set limit and monitor how many in pool, guests could reserve time at pool so everyone gets a turn. This made me uncomfortable. Other than that wonderful stay.
