  Our room was spacious and well furnished, also well equipped with TV, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities. Clean and comfortable. The en-suite shower room was clean, and spacious, with toiletries supplied. The breakfasts were delicious with a good selection to choose from to make a cooked breakfast, or if a cooked breakfast is not wanted there was a good choice of cereal, fruit and yoghurt. The B & B was a really good location, just a few minutes walk to all the local attractions. Hosts were polite, friendly and very helpful. All in all a very good place to stay.

  Lovely Guest House!

  This is a lovely little guest house, very friendly, very clean, location is spot on -right on the South Promenade. Lovely breakfast. Lesley and Allan the owners are lovely, very obliging and extremely pleasant. Can recommend Clarence House.

  Weekend at the beach

  This place never ceases to impress, regardless of the weather out side I get the warmest of welcomes and made to feel like I'm staying with family. The hotel is clean and well maintained, rooms are well laid out and all the basics you need to have a great stay. Breakfast cooked to perfection every morning and Alan and Lesley are always on hand to share local knowledge.

  a great stay in a great b&b

  we have come to this hotel 2 times in back to back years and it didnt disappoint both times. the rooms are lovely and clean, the hosts are really nice and the breakfast is absoloutly brilliant. look forward to going this year in 2020 if everything goes to plan.

  Very welcoming

  Just returned from a 5 night stay and cannot fault this b&b from the friendly hosts to the cleanliness of our room nothing was to much trouble for them good knowledge of the area will definitely return alan and Lesley lovely people
