Shocking pit of filthBooked via Booking rooms.com, we spent all of 10 minutes in the room, before leaving to book in a hotel down the road, stinking, damp with mould growing on almost every surface in the so called shower, yes I lost my money, but would never let anyone in my family sleep in such a pit.

Decent parking comes with a bed! This place is so terrible its laughable. Our room was like a squat, filthy dirty and and bed lime a torture rack and a shower you had to hold and didn't drain because if a tea bag wedge in the drain. A previous guest had inscribed our rooms door with 'NEVER AGAIN' and as for view, well it was breath taking. The breakfast was almost inedible and most definitely not served with a smile. Avoid the sausages, they are made from Flopack! I know you get what you pay for but this place should come with a health warning, especially considering there are fire doors with no handles and exposed electrics routed over the top of the radiator next the bed. Good parking though!!!! Avoid if you value your life

Convenient but poorThis is a basic, budget B&B which is convenient for Heathrow being only a few minutes walk from the tube station which is only three stops from LHR. However, the owners need to make more of an effort to provide the basics. We had an en-suite double that had a musty smell, was poorly decorated with bedside furniture in a poor state of repair. There was no bedside light. The TV was tiny although the picture was sharp and clear. The shower tap was faulty. When the hot water eventually arrived, it was scalding hot no-matter how the taps were turned. I went down to reception to ask for assistance. She apologised but said that nothing could be done, and I should use the communal shower. That was electric and gave better control of the temperature but still not fully, and the height adjustment holder was broken. Also should be replaced. The breakfast was not freshly cooked. The fried egg looked as though it had been microwaved after tasting the rest of the breakfast I thought it wise not to taste it. The only cereal was a sugary bowl of cornflakes. We had breakfast elsewhere the rest of the trip. On the positive side, the staff were polite, the firm bed was relatively new and provided a good nights sleep. There was a fridge in the room, there was free parking available and there were a set of routers in the property, so the nearest one to our room gave good wifi.

Nice evening staff awful morning staffI had my flight changed on 4th April to 9pm on Sunday 5th so needed somewhere to stay. I managed to find this one place during lock down and although expensive for the night - evening staff were friendly and the room was nice. Sadly the morning staff are aggressive, unempathetic and very rude - ruined the entire stay and I suggest people don't go here for that reason.

Amazing stayI had a wonderful experience at the Civic Hotel. It seems the hotel is fully refurbished. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Thank you! Will recommend to my colleagues!
