  First Tokyo Trip

  Great location. The airport terminal to Haneda is just around the corner. If we knew this on the day we arrived we would have used this instead of the train. Supermarket is at the next corner which is very convenient for travelers on a tight budget. The room was a bit small so if you have big luggages it will be cramped but the hostess was very accommodating and kind. She even offered to keep our luggage even after we checked out free of charge. We would definitely stay here again.

  Convenient and good

  Upon arriving, the lady at the reception was very kind and spoke decent English. She gave us a hand drawn map and did a quick explanation of the facilities nearby (supermarkets, nearest train station, streets to shop at). The room was comparatively more antique but was clean and had the amenities we needed. They also have breakfast which costs 250 yen (you can get free breakfast coupons if you indicate you do not need to make up your room). The breakfast was filling and good. However, it was around 1hr+ travelling time from the places my family wanted to visit. Nevertheless, it was still pretty convenient. Will come back again if we go back to Tokyo.

  Decent size for Tokyo standards

  We booked a room with 3 beds. The double beds in Japan standards is small so having 2 adult in a bed can seem small. They offered complimentary bathroom essentials like toothbrush, brush, wash clothes and so much more which was a lovely surprise. The staff is super friendly and a great representation of Japanese hospitality.

  City Pension Zem Hotel

  We stayed for 5 nites. We booked a double bed & single bed room. Considered a big room 23 sq m for Tokyo standard. Able to open up 3 luggages with walking space. Bathroom is a bit small. All type of toiletries are available at the reception area on the 2nd floor. The staff are very friendly. The hotel had a washer & dryer whereby guests can do their self-laundry for 800 yen. We made use of this service twice during our stay. They also provide simple breakfast for 250 yen per person. Location was only 5 mins to TCAT where you can take the airport limousine bus to & from airports. The Sugoitimae metro station is just below the building. The Ningyocho & Hamacho metro stations are about 10-15 mins walk away too. Many small eateries around too. Area around the hotel is quiet & peaceful.

  Great spot and wonderful staff

  We had a great week at City Pension Zem during our visit to Tokyo. This hotel is tidy and comfortable, and its close everything! Just a short walk away from 2 stations that can get you just about anywhere (Ningyocho and Suitenguame) and a short walk from several 7/11s and a few good restaurants. We will for sure stay here again if we visit Tokyo in the future. Thank you!
