  Nice for business

  This hotel is a nice one especially if you will stay on short term for business. Rooms are well decorated and clean, staff is so-so. The down side of this hotel is that it is too close to the old industrial zone of the city. This cause somewhat noise and somewhat bad smell.

  Adequate if uninspiring but good value if you negotiate

  I stayed there for two nights during a business trip. The hotel is not in a great location if you want to explore on foot as a tourist as it is within an industrial area. Ideal if you are looking for tool hire or plumbing fittings but not so good for attractions or restaurants. The hotel is a little worn at the edges. The room was fine, free internet access, no English TV, the shower was pathetic and clogged with limescale. Air conditioning was not terribly effective and smelled of mould. Breakfast offered a big selection of bread, cakes, cold meats, cheeses, dried fruit, cereals etc - hot selection was limited and univiting although as there was a chef hovering around I would guess that you might be able to order and omlette or something. Wherever you stay you may want to remember ear plugs. Call to prayer happens over loud speakers from about 4.30am though only for about 5 mins. I didn't have much time to explore the facilities but it is worth taking the elevator to the restaurant on the top floor to look the views across the city.

  don´t open the window on windy days

  -the hotel staff is very friendly and did their best to make the stay comfortable -the credit card needed to be swiped 3 times when checking out => I will have to check bookings on my credit card bill -the rooms are pretty small, but this seems to be typical in Turkey -when trying to close the window in the night (it was very windy that night), I was facing some problems, so I slept all night with a minor hurricane in my room (some happened to my colleague in another room)

  Four star hotel without alcohol

  I asked for a glass of wine during a dinner. They said that they do not serve alcohol at the hotel ! The food was also terrible. I do not know about the rooms but do not go there to eat or dirink (unlesss you want to drink just soda)

  Average hotel

  We stayed here for 3 nights during a business trip. The location is uninspiring as are the views of industrial backyards and rooftops. But the room was very nice and spacious, which was a big plus. Some corners in the bathroom were mouldy, and it also smelled a bit musty. The cleaners failed to replace the toilet paper on one of the occasions. The staff were okay, not very friendly. The buffet breakfast had a good variety, but the bread was old and hard. The decor in the restaurant and lobby is a little kitsch, but that's just personal taste as I don't particularly like fake flowers and plastic crystals. All in all, it was okay.
