  very disappointed

  I was moved to another property, which was lovely and I did not protest at all. The problem was that the hosts called three days after we left and with abusive language tried to convince us that we were stealing an antique pillow and we own them a lot of money, which is ridiculous. I contacted my layer already on that one. Be aware! I am really very disappointed that such kind of people exist and could ruin a very nice vacation memory.

  Not as expected..

  First the good points, the facilities were clean, wifi was good, the location was excellent and the price was fair. However, the room we received was nothing like those in the photos on the website. Instead of the modern rooms shown online we waited outside for a lady to take us and to a much older twin room under her house. She seemed quite nice at first giving us a map & pointing out where to go as well as leaving us little bowls of biscuits & fresh towels. Then it all got a little weird. The day before we left, she got quite aggressive asking what time we'd be leaving on check out day. We told her we'd be gone by the 11am checkout yet she demanded to know a time & wasn't happy that we didn't know the exact time we'd be leaving. The strangest part came when we left. She came straight into the room before we'd walked out, questioning what had happened to the bed? (It's a pretty old bed with loud and uncomfortable springs). Confused by not seeing anything worse with the bed since arriving, we just watched her rip the sheets off & look at the bed in great detail. I still don't know why this happened, but after reading various reviews on other sites, I am worried we might be in for a phone call soon claiming compensation for a "broken" bed. An unfortunately sour note after a wonderful few days in Dubrovnik.

  For the price it's good!

  Location perfect! Service friendly. You need to share a bathroom with one other room/couple but that's no big deal. Foam mattress is a bit rough but for the price this stay is great value. I think some of the other reviews are a bit rough. You get what you pay for!

  Location location location!

  We stayed in the gate apartment and wow the best location possible! Petra who owned the apartment is so friendly, whatsapped me before the holiday and during to check up on us. Facilities are good and a much cheaper way to stay as you can do your own breakfast etc.. apartment was super clean and had everything you needed. Bathrooms very spacious we did have a slight problem with the showers going hot and cold but it wasnt the end of the world! Air con units on all 3 floors! Nicely decorated really would recommend this apartment location is unreal!

  Excellent location, the rest...

  Apartment is in great location and ours had a cute little terrace. Unfortunately the place was not very well cleaned, kitchenette was poorly equipped and the quality-price -ratio was not good. Airconditioner was really dusty and during our 4-day stay our garbage was not taken away, nor did we get any fresh linen. The lady of the house was very nice, as well as the son. It was not possible to pay with anything else but cash.
