Pleasant stay at City Boutique HotelCheck in was easy and our room included 4 single beds. The day was very hot so we were thankful for the air conditioning. Sheets and bed were very comfortable. The location was a little difficult for us to find even with Google maps but a taxi driver showed us just how close we were. If you enjoy peace and quiet this is the place for you. We have to leave very early in the morning for our flight so did not get to try out the breakfast. Shower was great! Parking on the street but had no trouble finding a spot. We asked for a place to eat and found 3 within a 3 minute walk along with a mini market. Staff were so pleasant and hospitable. Water bottles, coffee and tea are available for a minimal fee. You cannot beat the price for 4 people. The only negatives were that our toilet seat was barely attached. Please note that there is no lift, but staff helped us carry our suitcases to the 3rd floor. Thanks for a nice and quick stay!

Skopje's best kept secret. This is a wonderful hotel, full of style, charm and elegance. An extra bonus is that the staff are professional, hospitable and very friendly. It was our first visit to this lovely city and it won't be our last. This really is a boutique hotel! The rooms are spacious, the décor has a Manhattan theme running through it and it is very close to some excellent shops, bars and restaurants. Here is a message for the management, Were coming back again.

Very clean, comfortable beds, interesting rooms, quiet neighborhood, kind staffI am from Belgrade. I stayed here at the end of April/beginning of May 2018. Each room is named and themed after a different European city, mine was "Amsterdam", so each room is different, which makes this unique. Interesting interior and colors, very spacy room, with plenty of light, comfortable beds, everything very clean, there is also a fridge (you have to stock it yourself if you want), an airconditioner, and, of course a flat-screen TV with domestic, regional, and some foreign channels. The breakfast is standard, but very nice and enough. There is a small store nearby to buy the basics, such as water, snacks, etc. There are three restaurants within walking distance which offer grilled meats and other Macedonian and Balkan cuisine, one of the restaurants being a fish restaurant. Taxi is cheap, between 100 and 150 MCD (between 1 and 2 euros) to the city center. The neighborhood is quiet, as families live nearby in private homes. The owner is very nice. He will explain everything and can take you to see the Matka Canyon, the Millenium Cross on the Vodno mountain, the Panteleimon medieval monastery (and others if desired), the airport, the Tumba Madzari neolit site (open-air museum). His tours are informative and cheaper than if you went by taxi. He will gladly call a taxi for you and assist you with anything you may need. He even ordered a pizza for me when I was too tired to go out again. I am so happy about my stay here. If I come back to Skopje, I willl stay here again, for sure. And the patio outside is lovely to sit on and sip a cup of coffee, and enjoy the purple flowers, before heading off to the city.

Wonderful neighbourhoodI have been coming to this hotel with my boyfriend for 8-10 times perhaps. The neighbourhood is middle-class, quiet and it is not working good if one does not have a car (center is away). But, you have the Skopje City mall relatively close by foot and 3-4 good krachmas, Macednoan traditional local restaurants, with friendly prices and rakija (those are Chashka, Gradska kafana, Makedonak Kuka, etc.) We generally like the hotel with my boyfriend but somewhat the owner changed the conditions surprisingly- the room's price was 25 EUR at one point, then 30 EUR, now (April 2019), it became suddenly 35 EUR and the breakfast is paid separately, it was 3 EUR last summer, now for the same amount of food is 5 EUR per person. This way the room started to cost 45 EUR for a couple, which is not friendly. The breakfast is not richer for 5 EUR. It says smoking is forbidden, but on the last night of our stay a terrible noise came from the lobby (we are 3rd floor) and the smoke from the cigarettes entered the room. Problems with parking- the hotel does not have a parking space and the streets was packed from all the cars of the neighbourhood residents.
