  Low value for money

  We were very disappointed by this hotel. The location is amazing, that's for sure but the photos presenting the hotel in both Tripadvisor and Booking are misleading. - Many rooms are very tiny. We can tell they were renovated but "cheaply" and still seem old in a strange way. There are not like the one on the pictures. - The dinner is a rip off. They serve you very very basic food (steamed broccoli and carrots topped with low quality melted cheese) at a high "set menu" price. - The entrance and lobby of the hotel look very modern and attractive, but what is behind is not. - The staff is very nice though (or maybe slightly over polite?). Anyway, we didn't have a bad time and it was overall fine, but we think it is definitely not worth the price.

  Excelente ubicacion ski

  La ubicacion del hotel es perfecta para aquellos que vayan a esquiar, desde el parking del hotel sales esquiando a pistas, con comodo guardaesquis. El personal excelente, super amables y pendientes en todo momento. La comida estaba muy buena y el restaurante era agradable. La habitacion era muy básica (austera) y pequeña pero estaba muy limpia y la cama era cómoda. Las vistas preciosas.

  Super three weeks in the Dolomites

  For my 6th visit to the same hotel still very friendly and accommodating. Location is best to none right on the world renowned Sella Ronda (Carrousel) and on an historical site. Ski-in, ski out. Great food as well. Best kept secret in the area. Will be back again next year.

  Jewel of a hotel in the centre of the Dolomites

  This hotel is a converted refuge at the top of the Passo Gardena so at 2,200m in a breathtaking location looking down on the amazing Dolomite mountains. The decor is lovely, with plenty of space in the communal areas. Rooms are essential with a modern decor, comfortable and a sufficient size. Everywhere is scrupulously clean. Food is in general good and the breakfast offers a large choice, including several homemade cakes or tarts. However it gets better - the staff is fantastic. They are genuinely interested in making sure you have a great stay and are always pleasant, friendly and helpful. Evening entertainment is always organized (clearly you can drive down to the nearest town down the hairpin bends...). And of course there is Christian who runs the whole show - always ready to help and who takes people every week day on ski tours. All in all a winning combination. Considering it all, the price/ quality is excellent. No wellness centre but then here the focus is relaxing in a sociable context (all staff are multi-lingual), skiing or walking(summer) and enjoying the glorious views. Really enjoyed our stay - we felt like family.

  Nice location, poor food and hopeless logistics

  Hotel Cir has a location which should be perfect for an alpine holiday. Unfortunately they disappoint on major issues. The food is mediocre and worst of all they have poor backup for getting to and from the hotel when it is snowing! The roads up to the hotel were closed several times the week we were there because of snow! The hotel has no backup for getting you in or out, but rely on guests using the lifts (when they are open) to get themselves and their baggage to and from the hotel. They have no solution if you arrive or need to leave when the lifts are not running. Their response was for us get alternative accommodation at our own cost. The obvious solution of having a weasel or snowmobil for transportation of its guests was obviously not an option. This is clearly not satisfactory and to claim force majeure because of snow in the Dolomites in March is almost funny. When the CIR improves its kitchen and ensures reliable transportation, they have all the prerequisites of being a great hotel, before this is done, stay away.
