  Good value

  We spent 5 nights just recently at Church Road Lodge. It was a good choice. The rooms were clean, air conditioned and comfortable. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, close to the shops and restaurants at Levy Junction and also good access to the bus station and Cairo Rd. There is no breakfast but the dinners were excellent. Very good steaks and fish. Wi-fi is available. Very good mid-range choice at $70 (US) per night.

  Basic B & B in centre of Lusaka

  We had two rooms, one with one double bed for husband and I, one with two double beds for the three children. Staff very helpful with our enquiry, giving directions etc. Rooms quite basic, needed to ask for more towels. Water pressure in shower not great, chairs on veranda broken. Safe parking and very good evening meal in their restaurant.

  Road trip from Livingstone to Solwezi

  A very neat and tidy place very close to Levy Mall. Inexpensive and business like. They have a pleasant bar and restaurant where we ate a very good steak dinner. No breakfast as we had other plans. Happy to recommend and stay again with them. Value for money 4 stars

  2 nights of discomfort

  I class Church Road with other backers in Lusaka. At $50 per night for two, it is affordable. It is close to several UN complexes, Levy Mall, town and government offices. However, the place could be kept tidier. The TV should not have been place on the ceiling. The consequence of which is the only to watch the telly is lying on your back on the bed. There is no satellite. There is no free wi-fi. There is no breakfast included. There is no option to have your laundry done.

  Professional and Courteous Staff

  We had the Twin Room Ensuite with two double Beds for my Wife, Son and myself. The Staff made sure that all our needs were met and were very professional and courteous. Rooms were basic but very clean.Towels and beddings were changed daily. Hot Water in shower, though No Wi-Fi available. Central location, child friendly environment, safe parking, fully functional Bar and restaurant. Happy to recommend and stay again with them. Great Value for money!
