  Just returned from a weeks holiday staying at the Christophorus, The food was excellent and plentiful, friendly staff, clean, good WiFi connection on all floors, entertainment from the ever popular "Bloodshot Eyes" twice a week, a thoroughly enjoyable week, would defiantly stay at this hotel again.

  Avoid the "attic rooms"

  We booked this hotel having read previous reviews and hoped we would get lucky with the room...unfortunately not the case!! We ended up in the attic room which at best should be described as a 2 star room. This room has 1 skylight that leaks every morning and is mouldy. The heating also does not work which made drying out wet ski clothes difficult. Not to mention the plug sockets hanging out of the wall and the poor decor that is in massive need of an overhaul. HOWEVER the room aside; the food here was more than adequate and the staff were friendly and it is in a central location. The room did ruin it for us though as it was not somewhere we could relax after a day on the slopes and based on that we would not return for fear of getting the "attic rooms" again

  Good stay at a reasonable price

  A simple pension, similar to a B&B. In the centre of town so easy walking distance to restaurants and bars. A short walk to the ski bus, or about 10 mins to the lift. Our room was simple and clean and the owner had kindly arranged the top floor on the back for us which had a nice view and a balcony. Only issue is there is no lift so 4 flights of stairs to carry luggage up.

  Brilliant holiday in Soll, Austria

  Our room had a balcony with excellent views across to the mountains. It could do with refreshing but quite adequate. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and plentiful. The hotel is in a very good location near to the centre, shops, buses and events. We used the free Kaiser Jet bus a few times which is a very good service to get to see other villages and do other walks. We would stay there again.

  A week to forget

  Having lived and worked in Soell for many years I was surprised when I revisited Soell on holiday to stay here. The location is great for the ski bus, bars and restaurants but if you have been to Soell that isn't hard as the town is very small. The Hotel is very disappointing- small cramped rooms and the food on offer was unappealing and tasteless. Whisky most hotels in the town have upgraded this has kept its 1970's feel which is a shame in such a popular town and location. What was more disappointing is that whilst the staff worked tirelessly the owners would sit around with their friends drinking and smoking! Give this a miss!
