  Worth experience ever

  Rooms are ok and clean. Surroundings look very cheap. Noisy at night. Not facilities. The worth is that when I was waiting to get back my deposit for the room (500THB), they ask me to wait for the maid to check the room. Then they gave me back the deposit and coldly say bye. 30mins after on the boat back to Trat, I realized that I let my Toilet Kit (perfumes, trimmer, etc). They obviously did not judge normal to give it to me back along with my deposit...VERY DISHONEST! To sum the service and staff level is very bad and not friendly. I will never be back and recommend that so-called resort.

  Thai huts and cheap

  Stayed here for two nights I stayed In the cheapest huts there as I was on a budget, I tot it was really cool up on a hill with great views of the sea, close to pubs and food outlets, bit of noise from the pubs but sure that's Thailand for ya, the was was basic but that was what I was looking for on a budget, free breakfast in the restaurant down beside the sea lovely view all the way out to sea so u rounded by mountains and beaches, I think the huts down low are snazzier for the extra buck, for a backpacker on a budget it's perfect.

  Great views from the restaurant and waterfront rooms.

  We started out in a budget room but my wife was unhappy with it, especially the lack of a flushing toilet. So we moved to another room which was a bit more expensive, but looked out over the sea and had everything we needed. The beach immediately in front of the hotel is rocky, but a short walk will take you to a small beach where you can swim. Being at the end of the beach means that this hotel is much quieter than some of the others in the area.

  Terrible room

  The photos shown are not the same as the one they make you stay or in other words they don't have the photos of all the rooms they have. The one they provided had walls made of mats and holes made by rat on it. The rats played on the attic whole night and the was no way I could peacefully sleep.

  Great bungalow

  We were in Ko Chang for a few days longer than originally planned and needed to find accommodation, we were recommended by a guy in a local bar to look at chokdee, however we read all the reviews and were put off but couldnt find anything else in budget that ticked our boxes so we went to see the man at chokdee and asked to look in one of the new bungalows, he was obliging and we did and then negotiated a good price The new bungalows are great, spacious and very clean and with good aircon and a big fridge and as they are only a year or two old havent got stale or fusty and the mastic in the bathroom is still the colour its meant to be If you are going to chokdee make sure that you get a B series bungalow, they are the new ones and only a few yards from the beach Dont bother with breakfast their though its a bit ropey and there are plenty of better alternatives a short walk along the beach
