  Nice room

  Nice room but double bed only good for single occupancy. Very good restaurant but long quene at dinner time. I hope wifi would be available at lobby, room and restaurant. Supermarket available in 20 mins walk and convenient store just around the corner.

  The best hotel we stayed at in Japan.

  We stayed at many hotels around Japan but enjoyed this hotel the most and also was one of the cheapest hotels we stayed at. The rooms were very clean, spacious for Japan and up kept. But only gave 4 stars because of its location. We were travelling by train and was located a long walk (30 mins through residential) from Jigenji station, the closest JR train station and also is located at the very south end of Kagoshima far from the tourist sights. Highly recommend this hotel if not travelling by train but if you are using a JR Pass to travel then you might enjoy staying at a hotel closer to the main station.

  Huge massage chair included!

  A compact, smart room that had an enormous massage chair taking up most of the floor space by the window. Semi double bed but it wasn't against the wall. Views of Sakurajima but also of the industrial dockside area. Taniyama is a little way out of the city centre. Breakfast and dinner were good.

  A very nice hotel with nice staff

  The hotel staff are very nice and great, the room was clean. The vIew from the room was great, I can see the Mt Sakurajima and the sea from my room. Though it is located twenty minutes from the town center, but with the free parking, you can easily go anywhere if you have a rental car. I would definitely recommended this hotel to anyone with their own transportation.

  Stay here to explore Kagoshima

  We stayed here 2 nights and it is a convenient location if you are driving since the train stations are a bit out of the way. Parking is in a sheltered 4 storey plus rooftop building next to the hotel and it is free. Check-in is fast and easy and you can loan stuff like phone chargers from their reception without much fuss. They have a list of items available and more organised. There are many restaurants within walking distance along the main road. Overall had a good time there. An early reviewer said that there was a massage chair in the room but there was none in mine but my room is much bigger than the average hotel rooms you get in Kyushu.
