  Outback Oasis in Cave Country

  We had a wonderful stay with Wendy and Colin at Chillagoe Cabins in September 2020. Genuine hospitality and comfort abounds there. From the warm and friendly greeting thru to organising cave tours, meals and the continental breakfast (which is included). The cabins are well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. The surroundings, gardens, fish pond and resident birds were delightful. We did not get the chance to have a swim though the pool was very inviting. Many thanks once again and we highly recommend a stay at the Chillagoe Cabins . Anne Maree and Dries : )

  Sensational service in the bush

  Stayed at the Chillagoe Cabins whilst on the Savannahlander train trip. Delightful accommodation made into a 5-star experience by the absolutely fabulous service from owners Colin and Wendy. Their welcome was huge, their attention to detail was excellent, the little touches that added to every part of the experience showed a real understanding of what great service means. Colin's tour was great, and Wendy's roast lamb dinner was sensational!! Wish we could have stayed longer. Congratulations - you've got a great little business and I hope you come out the other side of the Covid Crisis still smiling.

  Bush hospitality

  Our rustic corrugated iron self contained cabin was beautifully presented and clean inside. Lovely comfortable bed. Delightful hosts Wendy and Colin made us feel most welcome and served us a delicious breakfast by the pool each morning. Ideal spot to stay when visiting the local caves.

  Chillagoe hospitality

  Stayed at Chillagoe Cabins just for one night during the Savannahlander trip. We cannot speak highly enough of Colin and Wendy the owners of this accomodation place. They were excellent hosts, so thoughtful and while Wendy was preparing the delicious food of 5 star quality, Colin gave us a very informed tour of the town and it's surrounds. The cabins were perfectly equipped and spotless. Thankyou, we hope to come back.

  What a fabulous place to stay. Cute little cabins, unexpectedly nice inside, and a lovely cool pool after a hot day. Fully equipped kitchen, a warm welcome from the hosts, good location. Highly recommended.
