  More home than hotel, excellent service, superb location

  Calling it a hotel would probably not do justice to Çhigdem Alaçat. Owners, a very warm and welcoming couple, and their entire staff made us feel at home from the moment we got there. The location is terrific right in the heart of Alaçat, a bustling town which parties all night through the week yet located on a quiet street literally 5 mins walk from noisy party alleys. So we were able to catch a quiet nights sleep. All rooms are individually and aesthetically decorated. The rooms were well equipped overall. Just a small suggestion though maybe keep drinking water bottles in the rooms (you got to ask for it). We were carrying our own water so wasnt a hiccup for us. Batacar Baysal named this quaint boutique hotel after his wife Çidem, both of whom are amazing hosts, and along with their whole family, personally took care of our every need. We were there as a family to celebrate our fathers 70th birthday Mrs Çidem went out of her way to order a massive and scrumptious eggless cake for him as a surprise, on the house. (Eggless cakes are not normally available, so she hunted down someone who could bake it especially, since she knew were a pure vegetarian family). The hospitality didnt just stop there. She made sure that every morning we got a vast delicious spread of veg breakfast offerings prepared especially for us since their regular breakfast has limited veg options. A huge thanks to Bushra, Sibet, Osman, Mohammed and the chef (sorry we didnt get her name), and every other member of staff for taking care of us with smiling faces all through and making sure we left with a happy heart! The hotel exceeded our expectations on all counts excellent location, friendly and efficient service, personal attention and cheerful staff. Make sure to take a dip in the pool on the lower level and enjoy a drink on a breezy evening at the rooftop bar, which offers great city views.

  Lovely stay in a beautiful family run hotel

  We stayed for 3 nights at the end of our holiday travelling around SW Turkey so we decided to treat ourselves to a bit of luxury near good restaurants and nightlife. This hotel certainly fit the bill. We originally booked a superior room next to the swimming pool but switched to a smaller honeymoon room on the top floor (room 12 - highly recommended) because we wanted a little more privacy and didnt need the spare bed. The honeymoon room decoration was a little too pink for me but it had lovely views from both its windows - and the bed was the most comfortable weve ever had in Turkey!! The hotel itself is beautifully laid out with lots of different places to chill out including around the refreshing pool. And only a two minute stroll to the start of the shops, restaurants and bars in the centre of town. But there is no noise or disturbance at the hotel itself. This is a real family-run hotel and Mehmet,with his great sense of humour and generosity, really looked after us and made sure we had a great time.

  Exceptional and outstanding!!

  We stayed one night, and the room and level of service was fantastic! Would highly recommend and definitely stay here again. Our host was extremely helpful and breakfast was absolutely delicious! A dont miss experience!!

  Perfect Gem

  My partner booked it, so it was a complete surprise... It was easy to find, very friendly staff, free parking outside and a stones throw to the main streets...ideal really. Some rooms 1st floor had a small balcony, and the ground floor was by the pool... The top floor had a terrace, which was great ++ bar there too, so no carrying... And at night the mood lighting on the little bridge etc was romantic... Loads of places there to sit and relax, read a book etc, which is well thought out as it's not a big place... We had the honeymoon room, and we're welcomed with a free bottle of loxmxalred wine, which was very nice (surprised). The breakfast in the morning was never ending, I've never seen anything like it and I travel lots.... Would I go back, yes, 100% Only minor grumbles, I couldn't connect to the Internet, but I didn't try hard as I have free international data (travel lots) The rooms aren't huge, but are big enough. The pool had only four loungers, so it would probable get busy in summer... No real complaints at all. These people obviously take pride in customer service The talk skinny quiet guy, is probably the nicest guy on the planet, wow! (besides me of course )

  The best hotel in Alaçat

  This part of Alaçati has plenty of little hidden gems and Hotel Chigdem is definitely one of them. We felt right at home. From the very beginning staff went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and memorable as they could. Staff is unbelievable kind and attentive to our needs. Senem, Cisem, Ozan, Ziya and the owner Mrs Chigdem, you are the best team any hotel could wish for. The hotel is very clean and beautiful. The breakfast is awesome. Keep going like this. We are coming back again to enjoy the accommodations and discover more of this part of the country.
