nice relaxing resort......We holidayed here as a group of 10. When we arrived it was mayhem getting sorted into our rooms, as some of us had standard rooms, a few wanted to try to up-grade. But i loved the resort as soon as i saw the leafy walkway which the rooms were set off & the view directly to the pool & onto the beach beyond. Our room was lovely its was not overly large but more than enough room for a couple & several large suitcases. The bathroom was something a little different & the shower had a lovely little garden with a pebbles, plant & wood display. The room was nice & dark which is what my husband likes when sleeping or relaxing. We as a group were lucky enough to have the resort totally to ourselves for most of our stay which is probably lucky for other potential guests as we really just took over the pool area etc. We are all mature (in age only) travellers but boy can we party........& indeed we did. In fact we had a cracking time day & night. This resort was infact an awesome place to stay for larger group it seemed to cater to everyones needs. A cooked breakfast was included it wasnt anything special just eggs, toast & tang but they did cook to order when you were ready which was really good with a large group with different sleeping patterns. Our room was right near the pool which i love & beyond that a quick tip toe to the beach. Look the beach is not by far the best ive seen or been to & not anywhere as nice as others in thailand but it is what it is a nice long beach. The beach is the visiting place day & night of thai families having a day out & the local fishermen mending their nets & selling the morning catch which only adds to the magic of holidaying in locations that are not touristy & are loved by the local families. The resort had a couple of push bikes that we made use of & riding around this town was awesome, the locals were so friendly. The servicing of the rooms didnt happen everyday which is ok with me, but everyone ran out of loo paper a lot & 2 bottles of water started to appear everyday but then stopped. I did ask for water & loo rolls one evening but they never arrived, so we had to source our own which was ok there was a 7/11 just around the corner. There was a few strange things that happened like the day we all went into Hua Hin for the day to play golf & coming back to find all air cons turned off in our rooms, but the rooms unserviced with no loo rolls, water or clean towels odd. Another strange situation emerged when we asked a local massage shop if they could come down to our resort to massage all 10 of us. The local thai massage lady rang our resort to get approval that this would be ok & they responded to her that is was. Well with 5 massages done the ladies were about to begin on the next 5 when she received a call to say that it is now was not ok & they would have to pack up & leave........their reasoning was that the verandah of an empty room we were being massaged on was going to have guests arriving. Thats fine & the last 5 to be massaged were happy to go with the massage girls to their shop, it wasnt a problem. But when over our entire stay no guests showed up for this room or any other room in our vicinity we all got a bit miffed. It was very odd behaviour & we would have been happy to pay a fee to the resort for the luxury of being massaged within the resort considering there was 10 of us. I wish the resort had approached us about the situation or maybe suggested a solution. I thought we were the paying guests. A little more communication or interaction with the guests would have been nice. To sum up all in all i loved staying here, i would recommend it & i would absolutely stay here again. If you want to really relax Hat Chao Samran is a good choice.

Company TripWe stayed one night on a company trip. Room was clean , but the shower was only just warm.TV only had 4 channels in my room. I had a sea view which was good. But there were some many ants every where. We did not see the staff that much but were friendly when they were around. You can not get any food from the hotel , well I could not see any meal in the room. We did get some breakfast but is was a Thai soap.So if you want some food would be good to take some with you. Its is next to the beach , the sea had many jelly fish. There is a public car park next to the resort.Would I go back the answer is no .
