  Enjoyable golf

  I found the course at Inthanon to be very enjoyable. The course is of Sandy soil so regardless of all the rain in the last month or so it was remarkably dry. The layout is excellent and one of the best in Chiang Mai. From the back tees it's 7,200 yards, well positioned bunkers on every hole and with its fair share of water hazards, condition all round was good and greens excellent for October. It's not the most difficult course in Chiang Mai but it is one of the most enjoyable to play. Well worth the visit and great value at 1200 baht including green fee, caddie and cart. The price will rise though come November for the high season. The clubhouse also serves some very good Thai food. Give inthanon a try, it's around 50 mins from downtown Chiang Mai. Well with a visit.

  Hotel Terrible - Golf Course Good

  Seems many reviewers have reviewed this 'Resort' based on the golf course. This review is of the Hotel (Resort) and it aint good. For the prices they charge the rooms should be much better (concrete floors? plastic shower curtains? etc etc). They are totally disorganised, the reception is often unmanned, the internet is terrible and stops twice a day at least, and the parking is 'open air' - the whole place needs refurbishing and re-organising. The only reason I gave two stars is because the staff are very friendly - disorganised but very friendly and they try to help (but must follow rules).

  Like a curates egg!

  Good bits - golf course, clubhouse & friendly helpful staff. 10 minutes drive to restaurant Con Calma! Bad bits - swimming pool was green & polluted. Hotel bedroom spoiled by concrete floor & bright fluorescent tube lighting. All room information in Korean! Golf changing rooms dark & neglected.

  Poor course

  Played Inthanon today, long way from Chiang Mai and a very average course. Dry fairways, greens ok. Clubhouse is a ton shed, no pro shop, no wine. Would not play again, better to spend the extra and play Alpine which is a great course.

  i wish you well.....

  on top of poor maintenance and seriously wrecked fairways by loads of cart riding korean holiday golfers this course ran completely out of water. it is as dry and brown as it can be. also all the bars situated on the golf course are closed even in high season . once a nice jewel nestled in the mountains with nice views, now a poor show with only focus on korean holiday golfers for 3 mths a year. all advertising in clubhouse in korean language. farangs not welcome. they are not allowed to book their caddies in high season that they used to book and support in low season. i must say, only course around chiang mai doing that. feel very sorry for the friendly Thai staff and nice caddies.
