  On the Mekong

  Very nice little hotel with great view on the Mekong river all the way to Laos. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant, but you can find a very cute little guesthouse right next door which serves delicious food and a great breakfast for very reasonable prices (the hotel is unfortunately lacking a breakfast which would be appreciated - even very basic). The staff is pretty clueless if you arrive and have booked/paid in advance, but don't worry, keep calm, give it some - extra - time and you'll get this precious key to your room ;)

  Comfortable and Clean

  Family run Guesthouse/Hotel right on the Mekong. Adequate parking available but no restaurant. Coffee and toast are provided though. Staff speak little English but were helpful throughout our stay. Rooms are on the smaller side, however, were comfortable with good clean linen and views across the Mekong. Great spot for the price. Would definitely stay there again.

  A True Thai Hospitality

  Stayed in a room with the relaxing and unobstructed Mekong River view. The room conditions, the mattress, the shower, the air-con were too good at this price. The staff were so helpful and tried their very best to make you feel like home. Don't miss out the coffee at the cafe as it's the best in town. If you're on budget but want a clean, simple and lovely room with great services, it's your place!

  Slow Life

  Enjoyed the slow life in Chiang Khong. The Laos view is incredible from the balcony!! Super quiet location except for some karaoke noises from Laos. Also, it was great to check out the town with their bicycle! It was the perfect size for me as well as the bicycle I used was small. Lots of great street food when you go to the main road...including one of the best gapao moo I have had in Thailand!

  Very friendly and helpful management

  We have spent 1 night on end December 2018 at Chiangkhong GreenRiver hotel. The view is direct on the Mekong . The room was very clean. The family managing the hotel is very nice and helpful . They even sent us to the bus station to help us getting the bus Chiang Rai as it was raining. I strongly recommend this hotel.
