  Excelente lugar para disfrutar tus vacaciones

  Ubicado a 1 cuadra de la playa más linda de Fort Laudardale, resalta la comodidad de sus habitaciones y la cordialidad de los empleados. Se vive un clima super agradable, incluso sus huespedes suelen ser muy amigables. Yo lo visité solo y no me aburrí para nada. Muy recomendable si viajas solo, pasarás unas excelentes vacaciones. El desayuno no es de lo mejor, pero sirve para arrancar el día con más energía. Muy buena limpieza.

  What a disappointment

  A very small quaint hotel with a pool. The property is aged and a bit run down. There is no hot tub, pool was not heated it might be now as they were installing a new heater. The continental breakfast was not good, a bag of white bread, yogurt dry English muffins hard bagels. Horrible coffee. The rooms are outdated, worn and had a musty smell. They never vacuumed the entire time we were here, gross!! I wound compare this to a state run assisted living home with poor staff. I would not stay here again nor would i recommend it. Dont waist your money!

  Clean, comfortable and great staff!

  Our second stay at this resort and we would absolutely stay here again given the opportunity. I will say the charges for a later, 3PM check out can be a little excessive but on vacation you make decisions based on comfort and convenience so, they got me. The pool heated pool is heated and very clean. Sometimes these older resorts defer maintenance and are hard to keep clean but these guys do a good job. They keep everything very clean and you can tell tell they paint and keep up on maintenance, it really is a very nice place. Steven, Larry & Mark are all fantastic and the hospitality top notch!

  Filthy, don't waste your money

  The bathroom was filthy when we checked in. When it was brought to the general manager's attention he got combative with me. If I was managing the property I would have been embarrassed. The room was finally cleaned properly later that day. I have stayed here many times before but after this I will never step foot back into that property. With proper management the place would be a pleasure to stay at. It's apparent that others feel the same way, we were the only ones there for our 4 night stay.

  Close to the beach

  Overall we enjoyed our stay here at Cheston House. Theres a few things that would have improved our experience that need to be mentioned. From day 1 of our stay. The pool was disgusting- the skimmers were not functioning. We brought this to the attention of the live in emergency contact and was told it was working. It wasnt we have a pool at home and it definitely wasnt working and you could tell that just by looking at the debris in the pool and the lack of water being pulled into the skimmer. We and another guest took liberty to clean as much debris out of the pool using the net as possible just so we could feel comfortable getting into the water. The other thing to be noted is one particular couple- claiming to be guest at CH every weekend- had sexual relations in and beside the pool the ENTIRE time we were there. From BJs to full on intercourse right out in the open. This was absolutely appalling as there are family friend hotels with views right into the pool area. A clothing optional hotel does not mean have poolside sex in broad daylight. We were reprimanded for having a glass bottle by the pool but the two guest who go there every weekend had glass mikes hard lemonade bottles by the pool the entire weekend and nothing was said to them. As first time guest we definitely noticed this. The only reason for the 3 stars was our room was clean upon check-in, they made it easy to check-in after hours, and they had chilled wine in the fridge for us when we got there as it was a trip to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Even though they waited until we were back home to charge my card 28 dollars for said wine. It was nice that they had it chilled and ready to go when we arrived at the hotel.
