  Mediocre for price

  To start with the positives: The staff are very helpful The hotel allows dogs Free parking right outside the door Good selection at breakfast Beds are comfortable Bathroom well equipped, robes, slippers Nice touch of a comp snack to take skiing (fruit energy bar) The not so positive: The rates (what we quoted and paid £294 half board one night)is in my opinion very overpriced. Rooms are basic design for the price The room was extremely hot and despite heating turned off and window open, (at -10! Would not cool down) Food in half board offer is adequate, by no means worth the supplement, described as 4 courses and one if the choices on these courses is grapefruit juice?! (Its not 1978!) Wines and drinks overpriced Also to note as an area Surlej has little too offer, all residential and hotels. No bars or other restaurant options, well not that we found anyway

  Staff so helpful

  We found this hotel very comfortable and well situated to be able to ski to the door. All the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The terrace was great to sit out on in the sun and enjoy the most delicious hot chocolates.

  Perfect family holidays

  Second time we go to the Chesa Surlej. Nice family room that fits perfectly for 4 persons, excellent location with just 20 meters away from the ski lift and a beautiful view. Breakfast and dinner are excellent too and the staff is very friendly and helpful

  Super Friendly!

  Super friendly staff, very accommodating. We stayed 2 nights for the Swimrun race from Silvaplana which meant the hotel laid on an early breakfast. Happy to speak English to non Garman/Swiss speakers. Comfortable, good size rooms. Bit expensive but no more so than other hotels in the area. Breathtaking scenery!

  Great Short Ski Stay

  I booked this hotel for a short ski trip with my son. It was the first full weekend of the season and we were the hotels first guests for Winter. We could not have been made more welcome. The team we met were all so warm and freindly. The resort had only just opened for business and it was naturally very quiet yet everything we needed was organised really well. Hotel was nice, clean, comfortable and just what we were looking for. Corvatsch and Corviglia are amongst the best and most beautiful places to ski. The fact that the main run back to resort was open so early in the season was a bonus. A definite recommend.
