  Excelente lugar

  Este pequeño y familiar hotel en St Moritz fue realmente un hallazgo. La atención esmerada pero no abrumadora de su propietaria y la cálida decoración alpina de las habitaciones superaron ampliamente nuestras expectativas. 100% recomendable

  EN EL BOSQUE

  Hotel situado en las afueras de San Moritz, en el bosque, muy bonito, muy tranquilo, con una decoración interior de época, con grandes salones, una noche cenamos allí y estuvo bastante bien aunque un poco caro, la dueña un encanto, todo facilidades, hasta nos regalo una tarjeta para coger teleféricos y funiculares, precio de la habitación correcto. Recomendable si quieres tranquilidad en medio de la naturaleza

  Classy building, very friendly staff, perfect for families

  We spent Christmas Eve and the days after at Chesa Spuondas, the third time in the last 14 years, and again it was a genuine pleasure. The concept of Chesa Spuondas is to combine the elegance of the nineteenth-century mansion with an extremely friendly service which is tuned to make families with kids as well at ease as couples who dont mind a lively discussion over dinner. Note that this place is not a typical stiff upper lip hotel, but rather a top-of-the range guest house. Guests share the table for breakfast and dinner with other parties - which in our case was a success as we had very interesting discussions with two other families and a couple we met. The service is very personal and we observed that many of the other guests where on a first-name basis with staff, which is something in Switzerland. The cuisine is superb and if you book half-pension, you can be sure to be treated with fantastic 3 to 5-course menus every evening. Chesa Spuondas features 19 elegantly equipped rooms for 1 to 4 persons (those facing west with a stunning view).There is a library and a music room to talk and spend your time, a kids playroom, and sauna - so there is plenty of space to sit, relax and discuss. The house is located in a natural park-like landscape between trees, overlooking the plane of the upper Engadin towards the West, and with its back to busy and mundane St. Moritz. Its just a 10min walk to the next bus station, and, if you wish to dive into the posh crowds, the Bar of the Suvretta house is just a brief stroll away.

  A home far away from home

  This small hotel is situated about 2,5 km from St Moritz with a wonderful view over the mountains. It has a cosy, familial atmosphere and apparently lots of regulars and as we had booked a half board, we needed to ask the personal, where to sit, as certain tables were reserved for the regulars. A standard room with a beautiful view, nice beds. No TV, (which we didn't need either). You are supposed to leave your outer shoes outside your room. A rather usual buffet breakfast and if you book half board, which can be recommended, you' ll have for dinner a starter, a main course and a desert, all good and tasty. You can order wine from the wine list, both a selection of wine bottles mostly from Italy and also cheaper local swiss wines in half a liters bottles or by glass. You can even taste different local good beers. We were very friendly met all the time and would certainly choose the hotel again, when visiting this beautiful part of Switzerland.

  Great stay

  Charming rustic place, tasty food and the most friendly staff Ive ever met. Good location (IMO car still needed) and reasonable price. The building itself is old but everything is solid, we loved the furnishing. Simple dishes but brought to high level! High quality ingredients either. Breakfasts quite basic but good. Plus for the sauna. :) I can honestly recommend this hotel, its lovely!
