  Lovely central location.

  Chose this hotel due to its location near the steam railway. Alan was very helpful, on the phone when booking just a week or two earlier, and while we were there. Seaview room was good size with everything we needed for a brief 2 night stay. Alan told us about restaurants that had been recommended to him, and asked us for our experiences during breakfast of which we'd tried the previous nights.

  Couldn't ask for any more

  Stayed for a birthday weekend away what a great couple of host Alan and Trish. They couldnt do any more for you during your stay. Rooms clean and tidy breakfast is amazing (recommend the full English ) cant wait to return and stay again less than 2 min walk into town center no issues with parking they really do go that extra mile many thanks Tom & Nic

  Short holiday

  Israel place to stay. Stayed here twice now and going back in September again. Alan and trish are very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Bus and train stations are 5 mins walk away as is the high street so easy to catch the steam train & do the round robin to Dartmouth if you wanted too there is parking out front of hotel if travelled by car. Right on the sea front so you could have a sea view front your room

  Lovely

  We (2 adults, 2 children 3 and 6) stayed here the last weekend before lock down. It was super clean if some of the fixtures and fittings were a bit tired. Breakfast was awesome and the hosts were amazing especially with the boys. We couldn't have wanted for a warmer welcome even finding buckets and spades for a beach adventure. 4 out of 5 purely because of the price vs. fixtures and fittings - we would go back again with no hesitation.

  So friendly and nice people

  My wife and I had a room with a four poster which was great.the hotel was very nice Alan and Trish were the perfect hosts and would bend over backwards for you. Even assisted my friend with giving me a Birthday surprise. Breakfast was superb. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you Alan and Trish
