  Cute and cosy

  Lovely welcome whilst visiting family. We stayed in room 4 which was clean and just right for the two nights. Breakfast was delicious with good quality meats and a wide choice of cooked foods! Would definitely stay again if in the area!

  Tidy, spacious room Albeit a bit of fashioned. Welcoming and polite couple and quality breakfast. The lunchbox we got for our walk alsof worth it. Would definately recommend it. Also in the vicinity of hadrian's wall path.

  Friendly and comfortable

  Stayed in room 5 on the 2nd floor: up rather steep flight of stairs but room very comfortable and clean. Lovely hot (and easy to operate) shower in the ensuite. Useful information in the pack in the room, including local places to eat. This is a very attractive part of Carlisle. Margaret was very friendly and welcoming.

  Fabulous & My Favorite!

  My husband, along with our daughter and son-in-law, vastly enjoyed a three night stay at Cherry Grove during our visit to Carlisle. This was my absolute favorite stay of our vacation. Our en-suite bath was wonderful, with plenty of hot water. The beds were comfy and the windows offered in the welcome sunshine. This B&B offers old-world comfort, a fireplace in the drawing room, and a cheery breakfast room on the first floor. The breakfasts were delightful, too. Cooked to order with plenty of choices. Mrs. Margaret is a delightful and experienced innkeeper and gave us much information about the surrounding area. Our rooms were tidied each day with fresh towels made available. It was a quiet and relaxing home and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here. This was our "home base" as we explored Housesteads and Vindolana on Hadrian's Wall. This is also a welcoming and convenient location, too, within walking distance of a number of shops and cafes. I look forward to staying here again!

  Cherry Grove a Little Gem

  Easy to find close to motorway and resoable parking on street or local car parks A friendly welcome to a beautiful guest house so clean and fresh it was an example to others that this is a wonderful place to stay The room was spacious and bright with everything one would need for a very pleasant stay Breakfast was excellent with so much to choose from including fresh fruit cocktail to die for Overall a delightful stay I wish had been longer
