  One night stay to interrupt a long journey

  Very friendly hosts, great welcome, we were expected after a Bookings.com booking. The room was pleasant, the bed comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, the flatscreen TV was good and the bathroom facilities excellent. Best shower I've ever had in a motel! The room and bathroom were clean and the linen and towels very good. Parking was a little tricky and at a premium.

  False advertising

  Booked a family room, just lucky we arent a family because you wouldnt fit in. Beds are from the ark, bathroom isnt big enough to stand into dry yourself. We are booked here for 7 nights as we needed to be near a hospital and didnt want to be on main road and needed parking. Crammed in here like sardines so Im guessing we will hear all conversations and more, and there isnt enough parking for all the rooms. I specifically booked here as there was parking and I double checked with office and yes there is parking I was informed. Guess what there isnt. Can I get my money back for being lied to. Carpets are manky, hope the sheets are clean and only small amount of mould in the bathroom. Not happy at all as it looked pretty good on images. False advertising. These owners just rape and pillage these places and still expect a good dollar. Spend some money so the place actually looks like photos.

  Hospital

  We booked the Chermside Court Motel because it was close to the Prince Charles hospital where my partner had an appointment with a surgeon... Upon arrival we saw how close it was ,within walking distance, that was great.. But, for 17 rooms, there was only 5 car spaces ,one vacant when we arrived..yay..While we were out and got takeaway in the car, 20 min at most, the car park was full and told to park in the street. There was work going on next door with the road blocked , cranes and loads of workers which made finding a parking spot difficult The room was ok, basic which was all we needed, but the pressure in the shower was rediculously slow...after a long day we would've loved a long powerful shower.. We weren't told anything about the parking or work being carried out next door..

  Very noisy

  Very noisy, construction starts next door at 6am, staff inside motel are no better. Sunday only day no construction and staff bang doors and talk loudly outside room just after 6am. Small room, have a family room VERY small. Shower tiny. No parking, had to park on road. Supposed to have balcony, but all blocked off. FALSE ADVERTISING

  This place discriminates against dark people they are racist

  I telephoned and booked a room for a young Fijian male with a disability, paid for the room and meal. I stated that i would be down early in the morning to collect him. When he arrived at the motel the lady called to say he couldnt be allowed in as he had no identification on him and mentioned covid-19. She got very rude when I asked for a refund and i was unable to tell her that he had a recent negative result from covid testing. I called back to question her further she rudely yelled 'no refund' and slammed the phone down. I did not book online and at no stage did she that she did not accept black people and would not refund the money because they were black. This place should not be allowed to operate in modern day Australia.....very disappointing outcome
